    runs fine Windows 7 64 bit Fallout 1.9.4

    however makes fps drop 5 frames (as SweetFX always does) so pick your poison.

      An ALTERNATIVE is to go into your NVIDIA control panel and under "Adjust Desktop Color Settings" lower the Gamma and raise the Digital Vibrance a tad.

    This is dope. After spending some time tuning the settings, it looks awesome, and this basically gives the game a brightness control that it sorely needed. Thank you.

    Thank you for sharing this. It is so far the best graphics/color mod that I've tried. I simply did slight adjustments to both gamma and brightness and am quite impressed with the result, am now using it.

    Endorsed!

    I couldn't not help to upload and share some screenshots of course for your approval:)

    Omgds, this is amazing! Now with Darker Nights (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/191/), it is actually dark! Thank you so much, this is exactly the experience I was looking for <3

    Hi
    I just bought Fallout 4 from steam and was annoyed by the incredibly bright and washed out environment.
    I copied the files from this mod into my Fallout 4 directory but the game crashes on start. I`m running the latest version of Windows 10.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

      It is due to faulty dxgi.dll file in the preset. Go to C:\windows\system32. Look here for the dxgi.dll and COPY IT!!! NO DELETING!!! Paste the copied dxgi.dll in your Fallout 4 folder instead of the one delivered with this preset.

      So could I copy/paste all the files except that when first installing the mod and be ok? I'm running Win 7, if that matters.

    ive been downloading color corrections and other usless enbs for forever with no luck but WOWWW! this is great! The only thing I have to figure out now is the shadows are too strong depending where the sun is to you outside. The face can be completely black. Adjusting gamma in the sweetfx doesn't seem to help. Ill mess around with some settings thanks again!

    for me the best specs is posted below. it totally brought the details out of everything and made it look more real all around. ty!

    #define Gamma1.425 //[0.000 to 2.000] Adjust midtones. 1.000 is neutral. This setting does exactly the same as the one in Lift Gamma Gain, only with less control.

    #define Exposure0.25 //[-1.000 to 1.000] Adjust exposure

    #define Saturation 0.350 //[-1.000 to 1.000] Adjust saturation

    #define Bleach0.000 //[0.000 to 1.000] Brightens the shadows and fades the colors

    #define Defog 0.000 //[0.000 to 1.000] How much of the color tint to remove
    #define FogColor float3(0.00, 0.00, 2.55) //[0.00 to 2.55, 0.00 to 2.55, 0.00 to 2.55] What color to remove - default is blue

      I like your settings, but I lowered the saturation to 150 (might fiddle around and lower it some more).
      It was a little too colorful for my tastes.

      And thanks to Wizardkeepr for a sweet SweetFX setting, I can hardly recognize the game any more!

    Endorsed! Thank you for fixing and adding so much atmosphere to my game. This gave me a thrill to actually go back and play the game.

    Bethesda are insane to have removed the Gamma option. Mindblowingly insane.

      After a couple of days:

      This is by far the most impactful "mod" I am yet to install (50+ mods).
      The atmosphere is adding so much to the feeling of the game: especially when coupled with mods that make the game more difficult.

      Adventuring for materials coming back to your settlement to put up a light, that actually makes a f***ing change in atmosphere and raises your spirit throughout the night.

      Mate, you have created a Gem!
