The vanilla scope crosshairs cannot be modified by normal means. This framework unlocks the ability for authors to create custom scope crosshairs for their weapons. This framework does not add anything to the game on its own. To get custom scopes in your game, download and install weapons that support this framework.
Had the weirdest issue with this mod, aiming with a sniper scope with this enabled tanks my FPS until it is no longer playable. Disabling it resolves the issue.
So I tried to download this mod, so I can use custom scopes for the Modded guns and I have faced a road block. I don't know what the hell the "activate" step is suppose to mean as there is no "Activate" option on the Scopes.esp file. I have tried pretty much everything, had it downloaded on Vortex, Had it Manual Downloaded, I tried EVERYTHING! It does not seem to want to work at all. also, there is no videos that can help me.
Can someone PLEASE, tell me how to get this mod to work! Lastly, can someone explain what the actual f*#@ the "activate" step is supposed to mean, because there is no option to Activate it!
I have noticed that some weapon mods relying on this have no scope sway, while others do. I know the sway is meant to be a game mechanic, but I personally find it nauseating. It would seem there is a way to get rid of it on weapons relying on this mod. Could I ask you to explain how? Is there a parameter I can adjust in FO4Edit, for example? Thank you kindly for your trouble.
I'm having a difficult to explain CTD. I was using This collection https://next.nexusmods.com/fallout4/collections/8ervgs/revisions/1?tab=mods and only now tried to add this mod as one of my scopes was just purple when ADS. With this mod I CTD at the main menu, without this mod I can load in just fine. I cant for the life of me find the cause and would appreciate an fresh pair of eyes to look at the listed mods.

It literally just means have it in your load order and enabled.
