I wanted to comment that this is a wonderfully detailed graphic moon replacement and this mod has been part of all my playthrus since I started modding. Thanks.
I thought that was crazy. I didn't realize the Large moon was so large, lol. I think I will just dill with it because the larger moon is so awesome. Thank you DOOM for the mod.
This is a feature, not a bug. It also happens in vanilla, because the moon is a billboard texture, and billboards rotate with the character. It's just not as noticeable with the vanilla textures/size. Another thing that was recently pointed out to me that I won't be able to ignore now is that the moon moves in the wrong direction, rising in the west and setting in the east -_-
Huge, gorgeous, and crystal sharp moon! Perfect ambient lighting at night! Only .... it rises in the West, and sets in the East!!! WTF is up with that? LOL!
Bethesda cant even get firearms right by making them left handed when most of the population is right handed why would you expect them to get the simple fact of the moon rising in the east then again the reason most people are here modding the game is because Bughesda doesn't get the least of things right.
The standard size moon looks great but it's huge. If the moon was that close to Earth we'd be doomed. Is there a way to reduce the size without resorting to another plugin, please?
Then just use a mod that makes the moon smaller to need just one plugin. Like this one, "Smaller Moon" (optionally comes in an ESL version to save a plugin slot). https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16165
I wanted a smaller moon than vanilla so went for the smaller version but in my game it seems to be like a 1/4 the size of the small moon example in the images, so small it's almost impossible to find in the sky, more like a chunky star than a realistic moon size, anyone have any idea why this would be? Could it be because I'm playing in Ultrawide?
I absolutely love this mod. Great retextures, high quality I can even use with the 10X size moon with no visual problems. I did notice one oddity when looking at the edges, and was wondering if maybe it was just because I have a size increase for my moon or anything. Is anyone else seeing an edge that goes further than the moon it'self and kind of hides stars? If it's just me, so be it, but if this is something that's happening for everyone else too and is fixable, then I was hoping doombased could try and solve the issue. Once again, if it's just me then so be it, i'm a big boy I can deal with it.
Edit: Seems it was just an odd bug that fixed it'self after I loaded it up a day later. I don't know what caused it, but it was rather strange.

If you know your way around FO4Edit this is a really quick edit that you can add on your own.
