So far is really good and consistent even with just 16% (8 Luck), however I saw another crits mod that add and set the crit chance value to 10%, 15% and 20% on the offensive perks like Gunslinger or Commando once you reach rank 2, 3 and 4, my question is would the crit chance stack? or that mod will overwrite this one?
Hey, is there a quick/easy way using FO4edit to reduce the magnitude of the effect from 2%/luck point to just 1%, or whatever I want? I like this idea, just want to scale it as I want is all.
Very great ideia! But, i use the mod for aprox 2 hours, and i get a 40% crit chance, in my experience. It's a litte to much, and break the game difficult, so, i will disable the mod for now, until have a update or i figure out how change the %(i has 7 points on Luck).
Just a reminder: The perk (temporarily) stacks with Overdrive. With 7 Luck the chances are 14 + 25 = 39 % for a critical hit outside of VATS. Once Overdrive wears off you'll drop back to 14 %, as the perk cannot interact with the active magic effect of Overdrive itself and therefore cannot make the effect last indefinitely.
Can please help ans respond fast? I didn't get any notification about the perk and it's no where in my game, I can't get this to work which sucks because I tried to install another critical hit outside vats mod and that wouldn't work either. Can plz help or update?
At this point I figured a random crit mod would never be added to Xbox, thanks so much for the port, has been working with no problems at all.
Random crits almost completely fix the flawed game balance in this game: the low damage on automatic weapons make them super impractical in the vanilla game, where the loss of ammo economy and burst DPS in controlled crits (sneak, V.A.T.S) isn't worth the small increase in overall DPS. Weapons like the Minigun and Flamer become destructive on 10 luck characters, and even a small luck makes any rapid firing weapon have a DPS worth the cost of ammo, while still occasionally rewarding slower, more methodical weapons, and one-and-done guns like the shotguns manage to feel like they have a significant amount of oomf now. Unfortunately that means the Gauss Rifle is occasionally a nuke, but oh well, it already is in vanilla.
I like giving Legendaries to companions, settlers, provisioners, but so many of them involve crits (or VATS more directly). Does this apply the same crit chance to friendly NPCs and, if so, do they benefit from crit-related Legendaries?

Thanks, whatever the case, for this useful mod.
