      This gun was more balanced in New Vegas because of the ammo consumption, but FO4 eliminated the "amount of ammo used" function from the GECK. A modder managed to make a script that removes aditional ammo from your pocket.

    any chance of you ever releasing just a basic AEP7 with a bigger list of mods? I don't think there's one in the modding scene that isn't from Junkmaster (which is very much incompatible with my modlist, unfortunately)

      I second this! I want the original laser pistol. Doesn't even need that many mods.

      I have had a similar requests before, the biggest problem would be animations if i want the exact gun to the original AEP7. But what i could do is make an barrel for the laser weapon that can be attached to make it look like this, though that wouldn’t add too much to the game in terms of new weapons.

      I mean, I wouldn't mind if it was the F4 laser pistol just with the guard on the bottom. Basically if it was this, but with the standard laser pistol beam and without the junk parts.

    Nice! Any chance for an optional file so it makes a "pew pew* sound when used? (It's name is Pew Pew after all, so it'd be silly, but fun.)

    I love it! Any chance of adding the short stock so it can still be a pistol but held like a rifle? Feels like it laser shotgun!

      Sorry for a very late reply, I got a new job in the summer and it’s very energy and time consuming. Currently I have no plans for the short stock. The idea with this weapon in my mind is that it is so highly modified that it is stuck as a pistol.

    Pew Pew indeed. Only 2 shots but if you're a good shot then this laser pistol is truly worth it. Me likey. Great job on bringing this over to FO4. Endorsed for real Capt. :)

    ...Holy crap, this actually looks good. I hate how the new laser pistols look, so seeing the original LP in Fallout 4 is kind of cool.
    You think you could make an OG base laser pistol weapon? Like this one, but without all the added bits that Pew-Pew has? Or even just make the OG grip with the underbit a mod?

    You should consider making an all-in-one version that includes the other weapons you've made as well, reducing the number of ESP's from 6 to 1. This would ultimately be more efficient for most users and help those approaching their 255 ESP limit.

    Simply a suggestion.

    There is a problem with iron sights with this one. Maybe it is intentional. Still i would love this to be fixed. Best solution would be that you use the batteries as ironsights.

    Apart from that this is a great mod! :)

      It’s indeed intentional. The coils on the top covered a lot of your view in new Vegas too and it would ruin the way the weapon is set up as the coils on the gun are what gives it it’s power.

    New Vegas balanced this weapon by making the ammo cost to fire it 5 energy cells (15 before a patch changed it), but unfortunately the ammo per shot entry is missing from Fallout 4's edit program, so there's really not much you can do to make this gun properly balanced and maintain the original concept. Regardless, this is a great addition, and thanks for making it.

      True not much indeed, I just have to play with what I got. In this case I simply cut the ammo capacity so that you only get 2 shots no matter what.
