Can I still use them on other walls the usual way, too? Or won't they be available to place except vault walls?

Especially the "fancy" wall lights are buggy and even if it displays the bulb to be glowing they don't brighten the room/area...
Would try this one out to hope it will be fixed on the copies.

Yes, they should work on any wall. They just won't snap. They'll basically be the same as the originals but with increased brightness.

Because of your answer I just tested it (thx btw. for that fast reply!), but sadly exactly the same bug on the "fancy" ones again... Bulb is glowing but doesn't do any light, it doesn't brighten the area.
Industrial and usual wall lights are working just fine.

Funny on the fluorecent lights it's the opposite, they indeed lighten up the area (even if they could be a bit brighter in my opinion), but for that the lamp it self if switched off...

Sad Bethesda never cared to fix their s#*! even after nearly 8 years.

That's odd. I've never had any issue with them. I did a test with a stripped down version of the game that I use for development and both the vanilla and my snappable ones light up the area just fine. I also don't see any difference between them and the other lights in the CK other than the light color and the model file used.

I can't get the lights to snap. Not sure if there is a mod conflict or not. I tried changing the load order but it still didn't work.

Nevermind,, I figured it out. It has something to do the Vault-tec workshop overhaul mod. You have to turn it off, then back on. It works sometimes, and then sometimes doesn't. But if I do a reload and turn off the conflicting mod, it works.

There shouldn't be any conflict with Vault-Tec Workshop Overhaul. I use it too and haven't had to disable it. I'll double check later, but I don't believe it changes any of the power station snap points (which is what these lights use). If anything, it might add more of them.

Make sure you're using the new lights and not the vanilla ones. If a light isn't snapping, check the workshop menu for another one that looks just like it. I added (Vault Wall) to their name to identify them. Unless you use a mod that moves the lights to a different menu, they should be right next to the vanilla versions.

Same problem here. I'm not using Vault Tec workshop overhaul. The lights show up but do not snap.

I dont understand. I've used this in other playthroughs and now, in this one, the snappable stuff wont show up.

I haven't changed anything in the 4 years this mod has been available.
Are you using any mods that re-arrange the workshop build menu?
Is the Wasteland Workshop DLC enabled?

Hello, I'm not sure to understand, it is standalone or it modify the existing lights?

It makes new lights with the snap point added. The existing lights are left alone.

Would it be possible for a version of this that works on more than just vault walls? Like, snappable lights for normal walls too?

Not easily. These lights use the vault powerstation snap point which already exist on vault walls. Regular workshop walls don't have them, or any other similarly centered snap point, to use. And I'm not willing to put in the work to add them to all of the workshop walls.

It would be nice to have additional snap points for things such as roof lights for the hallways, or just more snapping points, especially considering the Vault-Tec Workshop Overhaul mod has stopped working, I'd do it myself if I had any skill, so I figured I'd just throw it out there as a suggestion and/or polite request, however in this mod's current state it is much appreciated having the OCD-fixing convenience of actual snapping lights.

Perfect mod! My ONLY request is that the oval lights not snap in the exact middle, but closer to the orange bar near the top. Would this be possible?
