    Patch 1.0.5 is up! We've been experimenting with ways to reduce script data usage after the discovery of the limitation in Fallout 4, and we were able to shave about 200 KB from the Megapack!

    If you're curious about the limit, check out the 3.5.0 patch notes vid for SS:

    This is something I really wanna try out but when I activate the mod, I get a CTD when the startmenu of the game pops up. I did check all requirements and I do not think I have missed to install anything. Any tips how to make it  work for  me? (I have not  installed F4SE yet and I do use all different SE in both Oblivion, Skyrim and Starfield but I have not seen requirements  for it yet, which I think is a bit odd)  :D  I use the 1.10.138 F4 patch, if that may be an issue?

    After playing a few hours I had to disable this mod due to getting consistent CTD when near the lake at Sanctuary. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but after running a crash logger and then a DDS texture scan it had to do something with Altiarps mods. When i disables this mod the freeze and CTD stopped, and was able to repeat is when re-enabling this mod. I've just decided to download the mods separate excluding Altiars.

    Does this addon solve the problem with Brae's defenses no longer working? Settlers won't stay assigned to artillery and I need muh barrages.

    I believe these packs are for SS legacy and incompatible with SS2.
    Can anybody tell what are the equivalents of these packs for Sim Settlements 2?

      No Mega Packs as yet and the old ones will need to be updated to work with SS2 and that wont be any time soon.

      Thank you uituit so much, for all your replies.
      I'm normally a SS legacy user as I mentioned in another post, but today I created a new profile in Vortex and started a new game just to check out SS2 and to see if I should move on to a new save. I also downloaded some suggested packs on this page; https://wiki.simsettlements2.com/en/customization/add-ons

      I have a few important questions in mind regarding add-ons and packs, and would appreciate if you could enlighten me on it;

      Whenever these "official" packs come out, are they incompatible with the original ones?
      Meaning, would the plots from original mod or upgrades disappear from my save, if I uninstall them in order to install the pack, to have them in a single mod? Or even worse, would my saves brake during that procedure? OR is it a seamless transition from a couple of collections to a single mega pack?

      Would you be so kind enough to tell me a bit about this process?

      The Mega packs are setup  to make sure when addons are updated that the Addon will over ride the mega pack version ,so you shouldnt see the same plot twice on the plot selection menu. So if you have a addon already in a mega pack and you install that mega pack the addon will come 1st and shouldnt cause any problems with a mega pack.
      You should never remove a mod mid save.

      I see, thank you.
      That means I will have to spare double the hard drive space in order to keep things working.
      Ok this is good to know.

    I didn't discover Sim Settlement until super late into my playthrough (as in, like three or four remaining main quests left). Do these work well with settlements that are already very populated? Just curious because I tried the plans that come with the 3 in 1 Sim Settlement version and the only one that ended well was at a settlement that I hadn't already built up myself. The others were very much incomplete.

      Using a city plan will remove everything that has been built by you ,City plan have 4 levels and teh foundation level will be very incomplete but you will still huge improvements over time /

    Is it possible for these Sim Settlements "DLC" to be made into ESL? I love them but it's hard to have very many of them because I'm literally at that 255 limit, so any ESP I install I either need to convert to ESL or else remove another mod. :(

      Damn, that's what I was afraid of. :( Thanks for answering. I'll have to see about converting some of my other mods into ESLs. I wish more mod authors used the ESL format when they can, as I know many mods that easily could be ESL aren't.

      @AbsolutGrndZer0: What mod manager do you use? Because for me using NMM whether it's ESL or not I notice a darn plugin increase! It sucks because I am literally right where you are too. I usually try to teeter around 245, once I get to 255 I go /aaaaaall/ the way back through my mods have to redecide if each mod is worth it to me. I had to go through and get rid of literally every single armor mod, because it was so silly how I would get an addition to the limit by a mod that had a few pieces to it, meanwhile there are other mods who had countless content and only add one addition. It's been ROUGH and extremely irritating, I've restarted my darn game so many times I've gotten to the point where I'm afraid to play because I know it's only a matter of time before I will have to cannibalize my load order AGAIN for some new cool mods I've found hahaha

      @PanicLedisko

      I would highly highly highly recommend switching to Mod Organizer 2. Idk if there's some open-source continuation of it or not but to my knowledge NMM is inferior and outdated. Slight learning curve but the virtual file structure MO2 provides is absolutely the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Should theoretically fix the ESL thing too, but I've never had a load order that big so.

    Hi, sorry for the silly question, but if I am already at stage 2 of a city plan for Sanct. Hills using RoTC, is there a way I can integrate the new additions (as seen in the video you posted about Year one) automatically through refreshing the city plan? Or do they have to be done manually.
    Thanks in advance, love your work :)

      you can change the plots to any other plots you like. You can even change the type of plot ,eg change a shop into farm etc but that may unbalcne a city plan.

    I have some tech tree's with name missing. Could any of the mega packs be a cause of this? I can't track down what add-on has not updated their tech trees for sim settlements industrial revolution.
