Any reason why Oberland Station would show up as Not A Valid Settlement? I don't have (to my knowledge, at least) any mods that affect the location, tho I did use Scrap Everything to get rid of the tower. Could that have caused an issue?

Saw your question - I don't have an answer for you, but I do have the same issue occurring intermittently with Oberland and a couple of other locations (as does my friend who also plays). We are both (currently) using the original mod rather than this updated version. While I don't know why, I have found if you look under the other settlements, you can find Oberland listed again with the right number of settlers and can manage the settlement from there. Hope you're still playing :)

I can't seem to get the spawn attack points to work via a terminal. I click on the option to mark attack points, it looks like it goes through the motions (it'll give me the option to unmark them as well) but i can't see them on my pipboy or on the actual screen. Any ideas on what's going on here?

Working as of today, managed to finally fix persistent provisioners and reassign settlers via the terminal. Installed via vortex.

Only thing i would want is that the Holotape Would not be so damn far down the list, and just at the start, else its just fine.
I did try the "Rename Anything", which did not work, since i cant see the tape, not even when i craft a new one.

I store holotapes that are no longer necessary inside of one of my homes. This way, the ones that remain in my list are usually the ones
that pertain to currently incomplete quests or the area that I am currently exploring, thus making my list shorter.

Is there a way to keep a holotape loaded inside a terminal permanently? This tape is far down on my list and I'd rather just dedicate a terminal to it.

This will happen sometimes.  All that I do is back out of the menu, reinstall the holotape and Bob's your uncle, it works.

I had the same issue at first until the penny dropped on me to realise that the essential Fallout4ScriptExtender is not a conventional mod. This F4SE is not handled by Nexus Mod Manager but must be installed manually i.e. extracting all files excluding those in folders in the 7zip into your Fallout 4 executable directory. Then the game must be launched using F4SE.exe before the settlers show their names correctly (instead of  actorbase) in this Settlement Management Software V2.

I have been using this mod, as well as it's progenitor for a long time.  It beats the heck out of ringing the bell.  An issue came up however that has me stumped.  I will assign a settler to a job but it will not assign that settler.  I have tried restarting the game, opening and closing the menu, nothing.  What I have figured out is that it takes three attempts to assign a settler.  The thing is, this glitch (if it can be called that) is inconsistent.  In some settlements it works great but not in others.  I suspect it has to do with the number of settlers in the particular settlement.  The more settlers, the more issues.

This is an invaluable tool IMO, even with some of the glitches which may be on my end (I get some settlements to over 70 people) and I cannot think of playing a settlement game without it.

    Thanks man!

The problem lies with the way the vanilla settlement scripts work. The unofficial patch has made huge improvements but problems like this still occur.
It seems to happen most often in my game when I am in settlement A and start assigning settlers in settlement B.  The first assignment usually works but the second may fail.
And yes, the more settlers you have (and crops, and turrets, and beds, etc) the more likely the problem will occur. (Seventy settlers in one settlement is far beyond what the game was designed to handle.)
The least bad option is to let the settlement scripts run while you go do something else for a while then try again later.

Looking forward to trying this mod on my next play through, One question since this is designed to work with Rename anything, can you rename provisioners without issues, I can rename them with the original SMS but some of them bug out and name turns to settler or they have no name at all, and have to go to earlier save to fix cause the ones that have no name aren't even listed as the settlement anymore and you can't manage them period and you never know which ones will bug out.

    First thanks for the mod!
Working fine, except for wrong or uncomplete data (wrong stats or missing settlers, etc ) when checking other settlements. This happens most of times. Always correct when checking the settlement you're actually inside.
    Any idea?
    Same for the matzman version.
    cheers

Edit:quick solution (just for settlers list). Save, load.
