So I had only found one pistol, which was invisible. when I installed the original mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27233?tab=files&file_id=167355&nmm=1 (release 3), the thing suddenly had texture. So, apparently the replacer is missing files that it got with the other mod. So I did some testing. Apparently you only need the folders: textures, meshes, materials from the original mod. So you don't really need the original mod. If you use Vortex: put these folders into the stagging folder of the Replacer mod, update Vortex and have fun.
Here a Pic And as for the crashes after deleting/deactivating the replacer: Yes, it still does that :/ After I reactivated the original mod or the replacer the crashes were gone.
1) It looks more like Sten or Austen, which is more realistic in any regard. 2) Everyone remembering weapons fed from metallic belts was working on Metro 2033, judging by how many weapons from there recall WWI stuff.
Hmmmm, I notice the date on this replacer is much older than the much larger recent update which apparently fixes the purple texture issues the original sometimes had. Any chance it can be updated as well?
hi, it’s unlikely that I will do anything with it - - the source code has been gone for a long time and the game has been uninstalled, as well as the toolkit... this mod is quite simple - it uses assets from the original, and if the author did not change anything fundamentally in the models and in the names of the files, but simply made corrections inside, then mine does not need to be updated - all it does is tell which model and texture to use for the weapons from pipes Of course, if Todd broke something, then we need to figure it out, but realistically, there’s no time or motivation right now. Someday I planned to return to Fallout 4 Pipe Weapon 2.0 with a completely made from scratch, but at the moment there is no progress other than ideas - so it is postponed indefinitely
This doesn't replace pipe revolvers does it? Its OK if it doesn't because I have a mod that I want to use to replace - but would be good to know if it does or not for future reference.
the picture is not clear, but for the bolt action version is it missing the ammo clip? I ask because the defense gun is also missing a clip and I was hoping this would be an alternative
It would be really nice if it also replaced the animations, the aim is a bit off with iron sights and very off with reflex sights. EDIT: nevermind, i just noticed the militia rifle mod doesn't have animations
It Does, but you need original mod to work, technically pipe guns now use model and texture from original mod, some attachments left vanilla(muzzles, bayonets)

Also why does your description say this " and does not replace Vanilla Pipe guns of course."
