    please get it working this is exactly what I am looking for but if there are no settlers then there is no point. I ya get it fixed I till be watch for it and for this other mod you said you are working on.

    The way to do it is to split the settlement up into 3 or four different settlements.
    Make each workshop a different one than the original single workshop, so it can't conflict etc.
    RAGODA (user name) did this with Cambridge, Fort Hagen, and a few other places (like Salem, and Lexington which is AWESOME), look at how he did his mods.

    I could never ever get this one to work on my game, even just starting a fresh one, it would never ever work (0% all the time), so there must be something boo-boo'ed somewhere.

    Compare your edits to those of known good and working settlements from the likes of Ragoda or TaxiVader.

    Those loading this settlement mod best do it indoors somewhere, or at-least anywhere a few cells away from this spot, otherwise it'll get 0% every time. Don't save until you know it works. Make a backup save 1st before you try it.

    Users without the Unofficial fallout 4 patch, best that if you've built a lot, DO NOT quickly traverse between settlements, it can brick or CTD your game, give the game a few minutes from settlement to settlement. 2 doesn't really bother it but going in and out of build mode quickly can CTD you.



    this 1 simple don't work because its not a full working settlement( I actually added a settler spawner, attack area, build area, scrap area, and a setownedtrigger) = not working

    Yes! Finally a decently sized town settlement! whenever I usually want to build in a town I just head to Jamaca plain but it doesnt exactly have the biggest build zone so this is perfect. It would be even better if it was Quicny due to al l the higher buildings, catwalks, and other crude barricades but this is perfect anyway so im not complaining!

      Well I hate to be a downer but the settlement isn't perfect. I couldn't get the settlers to work but I am making another mod that has a GIANT world for you to build a settlement in. When it is finished I'll post a link in a post and desc.

      It isnt perfect? Or it isnt functional? Kind of a big difference. The way you describe it is vague, with so much ambiguity its hard to figure out the real answer. Based on the replies I assume this is broken? Or does this have at least a small chance of working? Wanted to try this, thanks.

    This is a great mod that solves an issue that I noticed from day one with Fallout 4... the lack of city settlements. And the only bugs I could find were the ones you named! Keep up the good work!

      The reason why Bethesda didn't include larger towns or cities as settlements is first of all because of the difficulties in connecting a WorkShop to an area that covers several cells and secondly because of all the encounter points and eventual quest triggers within such a large space.

      WorkShops have a tendency to kick you out of build mode when you cross from one cell to the next, as you might probably have noticed when using mods that expand vanilla settlements.

    I've actually already done that... that's why I have no clue how to fix it. I would recommend using a console command for now. When and if I can get settlers to work I will immediately work on that problem but the settler thing is definitely a problem. I have the spawn point setup but where the settlement is spread across 5+ different cells it doesn't work. (or at least that's what I read in a post about settlements not working)
     



    ok lets see then do the concord locatin have all the needed keywords ?, (copy paste the keywords from albernaty farm)
    have the encounter zone the never reset/workshop vinked ?
    do you made and or copy/used the parent quest from robo
    just dropping a workbench with a build arena don't make a settlement

      I actually added a settler spawner, attack area, build area, scrap area, and a setownedtrigger. I just followed the instructions from a youtube vid... I'm going to try a few different vids to see if those fix the problem.

    For your cell problems, you could ask Ragoda on how they got around that issue with their settlement mods.

    scratching my head on this problem. already cleared out concord even the underground when I save marcy and mama murphy had the cleared concord, took them to sanctuary then came back. now it keeps saying must clear all enemies before use. I've been all through each and every building that I can. basements, underground and every place I can get to double check. nothing showing up. so even resorted to Killall. still won't let me use it. any Ideas?

      That's a odd problem that I honestly don't know how to fix. It works for half of the people that download it including me. I will hopefully have it fixed when I figure out how to make everything work with such a big settlement.

      Did you also go and clear the underground area where the Deathclaw comes from, while you're in the power armour, doing the quest for Preston in Concord? Not sure if that area's part of it. Might not help, but just a thought.

      yep even in power armor. had the completed clearing concord of hostiles. i'll go back to my previous save before I went in and see if I can do it right after I cleared concord instead of escorting them to sanctuary.

      look in ck for a thing called "setownedtrigger" drop it infront of your wb, link it to your wb, no keyword needed just link, move the box a bit over your wb most infront of it, when walking into the box, the wb is set as (cleared)

      forgot, when using a setowned trigger change the scrip for the wb set owned to none, if not it f'uck up the wb
