    I use SKK Fast Reunion to skip the early main quests. That mod also puts Fort Hagen on the map so it’s possible to fast travel there. Then I just tcl through the wall on top of Fort Hagen and activate the terminal. Does that have bad consequences for the save?

    I guess what’s different from this mod is that the Fort Hagen quest will also be completed using this method. And the fast travelling and tcl is unimmersive. I do think I prefer that over doing Arc Jet mission every time, though. Ofc people should do exactly what suits them best.

      Doesnt affect the BOS arriving, but if you dont actually kill Kellogg and get the cybernetic brain augmenter from him then you will probably lock Dangerous Minds quest triggering or the Amari dialog leading to the glowing sea. If your still doing the main quest.

      Thanks- that´s good to know. At this point I mostly avoid main quest when playing, but I still plan to one day go back and play the whole thing. I´ll keep this in mind if I start considering cutting corners!

      All of this makes sense. What I worry about is AFT Spouse Tweaks by sranger (an optional file for AFT Plus)

      I've changed the deadline to save your spouse from killing Kellogg and going

      I feel like this was a better paced option story-wise to give the player some leeway from just bum-rushing it to the Vault 81.

      I also fixed a lot of silent lines playing due to the coding relying on certain quest scenes.

      Additionally, I've also removed how the other V111 residents become ghouls and get a
      sack on their heads, I felt that was not immersive. (Minor edits)

      As the original deadline for saving spouse dearest is normally the arrival of the Prydwen (which also triggers the power failing in 111) I just want to make sure there is no conflict or, if there is, that it can be patched.

      You should check in with the mod that actually hacks the base game, a quality author will have already thought through all the consequences.

      i'm actually having the same problem, and when I use the commands it says "unknown variable 'SKK_FBOSTimer'".

      If your game does not recognise GlobalVariable SKK_FBOSTimer then the mod is not actually installed.

      funny you say that because I was re-sorting everything through vortex, and as I was scrolling I noticed I had one plugin that was--drumroll please-- *disabled*. LOL

    mod just flat out doesn't work upon completion of call to arms and giving the transmitter to danse outside of arc jet. no obvious reasons I can see as to why.

      it was showing me 6. i went ahead and waited the full 6 hours with the wait function in a chair, when that didnt work I tried just standing idle outside for the full ingame 6 hours. in the end, what seemed to work was a full reinstall.

      If start me up sets quest MQ101 stage 10 which is Vault 111 elevator exit so this knows its OK to start then yes, else no.

    Hi! thank you for your work on modding! Id like to ask something, as i know this mod doesn't disable the prydwyn entering when you exit helgen. that remains intact. I'd like to ask if the order in which im playing will be incompatible with this mod:

    went straight to diamond city, avoiding the af95 radio altogether.
    completed reunions without meeting recon team.
    as expected, if i exit the roof the prydwyn shows up.

    here lies my question about the future of my playthrough:

    if i TCL out of the door, and bypass that prydwn entrance sequence, go about my game, then later complete arcjet, and this mod activates the prydwyn, will my save be bricked? or will this be a valid sequence of events to use, bypassing the helgen exit door?

      Dont know and dont have time to review the base game chain triggered by MQ106_FortHagenExtTerminal ... which I remember is a complicated buggers muddle.

      This solution is triggered by quest BOS101 stage 380 and shutdown by quest BOS201 Stage 5.

      it used to before covid, i used them together all the time.  idk if it does since the recent updates as i haven't played since and am trying now since the show released

    Does anyone know if its possible to remove the main quest entirely? Lets face it, the game is more enjoyable for modders with9out the stupid quests. They were great 10 years ago, but Its time for them to move on.

      Fallout 4-76 OpenWorld / Commonwealth of Decay does that, BUT it also has to remove all humans because of the thousands of dependencies.

    So, everything proceeded fine. All the quests fired off correctly and all until..... Show No Mercy. It refuses to start up, with Maxson stuck inside the Prydwen. Aside from PRP and a slew of bug fixes, the only other mods I have are retextures and This.
