This is a good mod, however please could you also try to add songs into this as well. I'm not saying you have to and i have this mod and i love it but please if you can add 1940-1960 mods that would be great.
    Thanks!
If you can't them please try and teach me how to do it.

Hey man, thanks! Well I actually did make 2 other radio stations with just music, but the problem is they both got taken down for copyright issues So for now I've kind of given up trying to include songs lol, eventually though I will probably try and make a list of some lore-friendly music that is in public domain. When the GECK tools come out I will definitely add music into this though, as well as make it a separate station Unfortunately at the moment, I've used up all of the air time available on Radio Freedom (about an hour and a half), so to add songs I'd have to take some of the commercials out! I think Classical Radio is probably the best for custom music.

If you want to give it a go yourself, I definitely recommend checking this out www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/255 it's pretty simple and you're basically just converting/moving music files around. Let me know if you need any help!

Perhaps you could make it compatible with another authors Radio Freedom Music Mod? Like, I download the music mod and then this one on top - and somehow they shuffle with eachother, not just a long que of songs followed by a long que of Radio Commercial!

This is so enjoyable! Thanks for taking the time to find and compile all these delightful commercials. I mean, some of them are kinda freaky and depressing when ya think how marketers cancer-fied a generation with their lies and distorted facts. But that kinda adds to the charm and makes them more appropriate for a post-apocalyptic world. Nicely done!

I'm really late adding this in, but I really do wanna say that I've been loving this mod almost ever since you've first posted it. There's just something oddly enjoyable about tuning into a commercialized blast from a past that I wasn't even close to living in. You know, doctor's must have been rolling dough like kings in that time if EVERYTHING needed to be approved by them.

Anyways, seeing as you've been having trouble with adding music mods to go with it, might I suggest talking to some of the other radio modders out there? There seems to be more than several who aren't being kicked with copy right claims. I'm pretty sure more than a few of those modders would be happy to let you make a patch to fit this with they got.

Thanks so much for the feedback! It's great to hear you're enjoying it I know it's pretty hilarious how much of the adverts blurt on and on about a doctor's approval haha, though it IS kind of scary to think that was only 50 years ago or so, and some of the doctor's even promoted cigarette use for bad cough lol.

Also thanks a lot for the suggestion about the music. I'm pretty confused about the whole copyright situation on here to be honest, because there are so many radio mods up now which feature licensed music and have not been penalized at all. Yet when I included the same tracks for one of my older mods it got removed within a day! I mean just look at the 2nd most endorsed radio mod, nearly all of the tracks are copyrighted and there is no mention of credits/permissions at all. I just figured one of the moderators had a personal grudge against me or something, aha! I definitely want to try and add music tracks in at some point though.

Cheers and have a wicked new year!

Happy New Year to you too~ Thanking you is the least I can do after all the trouble you went through. The Copy Right laws these days are nuts. If I remember right, CR claims not too far back in the day only extended for 7 years max before needing a renewal. Too bad it's no longer like that because you would've had no problem. Now it's up to 50 years. 50. Fucking. Years. That's nuts. I'm actually kinda curious who was slapping you with CR claims when it's music from around the f*#@ing 1950's. Good chance it's from a song who's artist died long ago and it's just someone in a necktie trying to keep some easy money coming in.

Sorry, I'm cutting myself off from ranting. I kinda get a little passionate about how these copy right laws are hardly even about defending content creators any more. Anyways, speaking of creators, I'm certain one of those other mod creators will be fine with letting you make a patch and perhaps even advertising it. I'm certain it'll be far less work to make a patch than to scrounge up a list of music that won't get you another CR slap. Plus, if someone gets CR slapped for a music track, it won't be you this time.

Thanks man! I completely agree with you on the copyright situation, it's annoying. I have no problem with a genuine artist wanting to protect their OWN music/creation. The thing that annoys me is that most of those old record label owners only do it so they can get a quick buck from music they didn't even create themselves (not even relatives of the original artist, just has shares/ownership in the label). Plus like you said, would an artist from the 50s really care if their music is featured in a mod for a 2015 video game, lol! I know personally I'd be more flattered than offended.

I don't think my previous mods actually had any copyright strikes or reports, just the same moderator kept removing them (I assume because he looked through the track list). Why they have no issue with the other radio mods however, I do not know. Definitely like your patch idea though, I'll look into that! I really hope the GECK releases soon as it will give me more motivation to develop this into a proper station :D
      Thanks again, bud!

No one has suggested a version of this replacing the Classical radio station- so I'm suggesting it. I love both my DC and Minutemen radios, but the classical station's practically a blank slate just begging to be overwritten... (Yes, even after it vanishes due to ((**Redacted!**)) it can be restored with a simple console command, and once again, provides a perfect slot for custom stations...)
Love the idea! Ads are sooo flavorful!

Thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely look into it and try and get a Classical Radio version up. Unfortunately I can't just swap the XWM files over because Classical Radio has 29 tracks whereas Minutemen only uses 11. I think I'll just need to splice the ads over 29 tracks instead and then it should be good to go!
