I've managed to fix the file for VGM and XDI. It only affects the charisma checks sprites so it was an easy fix.
If @hyenaplaygames wants the file, I'd be happy to give it to him to host as I have no real desire to host it myself.
The reason loading XDI later in your load order will not work is because XDI packages it's files in BSA archives. BSA archives are always overwritten by loose files regardless of load order. And in this case, VGM uses loose files to allow for a dynamic install.
There is nothing in the Normal or Classic folders only the Alt folder. So it installs nothing if you select those two. Don't know why they are options to select, if they do nothing.
Im a gamer who know how to install mods with Nexus. Not real sure what this is or how to make it work. But if its an update to the vault girl perk tree, then I am very interested.
What mod manager are you using? I followed the instructions but when trying to install the new zipped folder with nexus mod manager it says the installation failed.
I think the vault girl mod has a charisma vault girl persuasion success animation that does not play well with XDI. I'm not entirely sure what this mod tries to fix but if I should hazard a guess it would be something related to that animation.

I tried but VGM totally replaces the file
