Mod doesn't work for me. I've reinstalled this mod many times but I cannot find it out in the wasteland, cant find it at vendors, etc. using the console and typing "Help RiotShotgun 4" shows that the gun doesn't even exist. And yes I am above level 25.
I love this mod and have used it for ages! Works absolutely fine on my laptop, but unfortunatley this is one of a few mods where textures don't load and show as purple/pink on the Steam Deck.
My load order is exactly the same on the Steam Deck as it is on my laptop and many other mods are working as intended. The steam deck is also vastly superior to my potato laptop as well, wondering why the textures would not show as in all other aspects this mod works just fine. Any thoughts?
I gotta give thanks to you, Hitman47101, and wardaddy755 thanks for making this possible. Also, Ninjato7 for making the combat shotgun replacer mod, so now i don't have to see that vanilla shotgun design anymore. Granted, I wish it had more mods like a full stock, ammo types, or even just some reflex scopes, but I would pick this mod over anything else for a lore friendly, and high quality shot gun mod if I wanted to replace the vanilla combat shotgun any day.
the pipe weapons look like they have enough room, the charging handle and bolt are above the magazine and not the trigger. But there's something else about them that you can't unsee: the reload animation for the semi and full auto variants shows the bolt being racked as if it's a regular bolt action. The player's left hand pulls it straight back, but then pushes it forward then down a little bit, even though the weapon model shows no such thing being possible.
This mod is awesome! Thanks for spending the time to put it together, this was one of my favorite guns in New? Vegas and I'm so glad to see it in Fallout 4!
