Hello, all! A little update to keep you in the know:
The next catalog expansion is still in development. There's been some issues insuring the "structural integrity" of the new Roof prototype, but my superior engineering will win the day! I'll admit I may have also distracted myself with other things, too, but it's all for the greater good. :)
Lastly... I want to mention that I have a Twitter! @thestaindev is where I'll be posting pictures and various other goods to display my new works! And I appreciate any sort of interaction that you, beloved consumers, have with me. Happy surviving!
Great mod there ! But i have a few problems with it. I want to cover both of frame's face, but in the house's corner, impossible to get both the 2 parts of the corner covered ! It's quite frustrating *sigh* Do you know how to fix this, or orverpass this problem, to have a clean, full walled house ? Thx :)
Do you happen to have "Place Anywhere" installed? That exact issue is why I recommended using it.
Unfortunately, I still can't seem to get the pieces to snap without issue; I'm still working on pinpointing the problem, but hopefully it will be fixed in the future!
Great mod im not going to lie i about came back to coplain nothing was able to snap when i realized i saw a image of wall frames but never placed one hoped back on placed a frame snapped right to the foundation then the wall right to the frame great mod cant wait to start building i havent tested a door yet but im sure itll also work i cant tell you how long ive been trying to find a mod with wooden walls that have actual windows i cant stand the vanilla shack walls 100% WOULD RECOMMEND this mod for some reason it still says i need to download this mod to endorse so the second i can endorse it i will
Could this mod's esp be safely converted to an esl? I'm converting a truckload of "smaller" mods, but since this one has its own menu, I was just wondering...
This looked promising, even with only a few wall textures. I liked the idea of unfinished buildings. However, I didn't find myself using it at all (the wall height is the same as barns and warehouses and that's not my thing), so I decided to uninstall.
Uninstalling caused me a lot of grief for such a small mod, especially since the chem didn't work and I had to do the categories fixer. I never had issues uninstalling building mods previously (save for one), so overall I just wish you had made the mod its own category - kind of like Homemaker, G2M, cVc... or at least have it in the SKE menu. With so many hours on my main save, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't shitting my pants thinking I broke the building menus and worrying whether the fixer was going to work, or mess up my game further.
I hope you at least consider SKE. If not, to anyone considering installing, the mod is still great if you plan on using it, and works just as intended.
you really shouldn't uninstall any mod if you're still playing that game - irrespective of the uninstall issues you faced, you've probably corrupted that game because this mod will be baked into your save. fallout 4 is not constructed to enable mods to be installed/uninstalled while you play through.
if you value your current game, then if i were you, i would roll back to a save where you still have this mod installed, and, if you don't use it - then just leave it until you complete your play though, then, when you start a new game, don't include it in your load order.
I had no long-lasting issues from uninstalling, luckily. The recommended fixer sorted things out, and I've added/removed more mods since. The save is functioning fine. I did have a similar build menu issue with another save (where this mod wasn't even activated), but nothing I couldn't fix with reinstalling what was missing from the menus, or just using their respective holotapes.
I might just be very lucky, and I'm glad because this is my main character with hundreds of hours that I wasn't willing to give up. I'll definitely take your advice going forward.
Wallpaper is a great idea! I wonder if paper would be difficult to mass-produce in the post-apocalypse.... As for Plaster, it is absolutely coming in the next expansion - in four exciting colors to start!
