Sorry for the late reply (you had the first question in over 3 years so I kinda quit checking here) but to answer you:
1) Yes, the mod works with the Next Gen update without issue. 2) The person who offered to make a DLC patch never got in touch with me again, thus I never uploaded it here. There's always a chance I might bother with it myself, but as I have no interest in actually playing either Far Harbor or Nuka World, I wouldn't wait on it. Sorry, I'm just lazy.
Oh god thank you. I've just installed in the game and was jumping around here and there to test out mods before starting a proper playthrough, and in that time I ran into roaches and bloatflies and just about uninstalled it then and there. I have a SEVERE phobia of anything creepy-crawly, most especially roaches, beetles and anything of that variety, but the giant flies were upsetting me just as much in this lol.
So if this mod does eliminate them all (not sure if the radroaches mentioned a few comments below have been removed as well now), you get so many hugs because I really don't know if I could play the game with all of those horrible things in view. Mods like this are lifesavers XD
Thank you for this amazing mod, I can finally use something other than auto weapons!
There is the occasional legendary radroach and such but still it's better than seeing large flies and mosquitoes flying all across my screen and earraping me, so thank you.
Man I would rather there be no fricken roaches, nor insects at all. I freaking hate insects, like I always freak out, so I don't wanna see no insects in any game tbh. Thats why I'm downloading this mod
Something that always bothered me in this game is that these giant mutated insects are actually way too weak. Ants are able to carry up to twenty times of their body weight, cockroaches are probably even more tough. Not even some mutated variants (and in Fallout mutations means superpowers). If these creatures could maintain their level of strength compared to their size, these superinsects would be absolutely superior to everything else. Forget deathclaws, cockroaches should be the ultimate predators in wasteland. But then, who wants a game like that. So better to just remove them completely.
Can anyone confirm if this also works for Fallout 4 VR? i think understandably i don;t want to give it a go and check myself as the VR experience is... more intense.
I know there are a lot of bug haters due to phobias etc but i am thanking the author of this mod purely because i do not like killing bugs they are here in the real world for a reason much the same as we are here after all if it was not for the bees we would have very artificial food and for the wasps taking out the thingies that eat the plants and flies well they clean up after us check this out https://blog.csiro.au/five-reasons-flies-are-awesome/ so why beth put in game lots of bug (literally lol) is just to feed our fears cos they couldnt think of anything original i also have the cheat mod set to make all animals friendly however i do enjoy blowing the heads of bullying raiders (i hate bullies yes its a school thing) anyways i am very happy with this mod thank you chuckdm
Thank you, works perfectly! Installed this before my first ever play and have only seen a few radroaches (as noted in the description) at the start of the game so far.
