New Version: 1.4b - Fixed minor sound artifact at the beginning of some tracks (Thank you again Willdo89!)
Version 1.4 - New remastered audio files courtesy of Willdo89! - All tracks now feature subtle fade-ins and outs to make them less jarring when they start and stop playing
Version 1.3 - Fixed file paths - Added DLC Support - Tweaked song selection
Version 1.2 - Added additional tracks - Further tweaked audio gain - improved song selection/shuffling - scripted NMM Installer
Version 1.1 - Conversion to xvm files for better compression and smaller filesize
I can not add music to the mod from Fallout 3 / Tactics / etc.
Nexus policy prohibits any upload involving music not covered by public domain status. Neither the Fo3 nor the Tactics Soundtracks are PD, so unless that changes my hands are tied.
Can't you send a pm to Inon Zur and ask him if you can use his music, or it doesn't work that way? I know F1 and F2 are PD but I still asked Mark Morgan if I can use his music for my mod.
@koyr_gr, @skaven234567 or you just convert the tracks you want to .xwm and replace it with the mod's tracks like: i want to add darude sandstorm what do i do? i convert it to .xwm and rename it to mus_FO1_AcolytesOfTheNewGod.xwm. then i replace the existing one and done.
Just a small reminder if anyone's interested in this mod:
You can download better edits there (i.e. no overlaping tracks): https://www.mediafire.com/file/8o18p1mpt6ysyzo/FO_Classic_Audio_backup.rar/file (new link, thanks to zMaZT3Rz for the backup!)
I lowered the volume on all tracks because it was a bit higher than the vanilla soundtrack, so I recommend using this for the "normal volume" version of the mod. Just replace the "Fo1Classic" and "Fo2Classic" folders (your Fallout 4 installation folder\Fallout 4\Data\Music\Palettes) with the new ones, and it should get the job done!
Thank you for your work on this! I used this mod a couple years ago loved it but remembered the overlapping tracks and really happy to see a fix for it on my recent reinstall of f4 last week.
Nice find! I corrected the typos and updated my message with a new link, I'll appreciate if anyone can confirm the tracks in question play properly (I use an even more modified of this mod for personal use so I can't really verify)
@zMaZT3Rz : yeah sure no problem! Just make sure you also credit the original mod author (obviously) ;)
I think the Next Gen update killed this mod, like it did many other older mods. Fake Edit - Well that's the case for manually installing. Using a mod manager it works.
Is anybody else hearing these tracks play very quietly even with the music volume completely up? I'm overwriting the vanilla tracks with Mo2 with each song organized for each area doing that part myself
Essential mod. Although I have a feeling like some classical tracks are missing but I can't point to the exact ones. Just something feels to be missing from this.

1. There is a typo in mus_FO2_SanFrans/cisco.xwm in esp file while your audio file has proper spelling so game still uses older one
2. Unnecessary space in your version of mus_FO1_CityOfThe_Dead.xwm

Thanx for the great mod!
Have you considered putting music from Fallout Nevada and Fallout Sonora or similar projects into the mod?
