I was just browsing LooksMenu presets and came across this and I thought, this girl has *very* red lips! So I went to check the requirements, and sure enough, there's the lipstick red colour mod I made standalone. Glad to see it in use!
Hi, I have a problem. I downloaded everything that was required for this preset, but it does not appear in the templates looksmenu. What could be the reason ?
Are you able to access the presets at all? If the button is greyed out either LooksMenu or F4SE is out of date and needs to be updated. If you can access the preset menu and she's still not there, you may need to manually install the .json file. After unpacking the .rar file, place Alexis.json into Fallout4/Data/F4SE/Plugins/F4EE/Presets. Let me know this helps, or if you need any further clarification on anything! :)
The preset didn't show. (at that time I had the latest version of F4SE and looksmenu) I'll try as soon as F4SE releases a new patch, thanks for responding to my call for help :3
Was it just my preset that wasn't there, or was it the whole menu? Because if it's only Alexis that's missing, then it's probably not an issue with LM or F4SE. Could you follow that path to in your directory and tell me if her file's there?
Edit: I hadn't realized they'd updated Fallout 4. Again. So hopefully once F4SE and the mods that depend on them are updated for the latest patch you should be able to use this preset. If not, let me know, and I'll do my best to help.
Updating F4SE and looksmenu I never saw the preset, but throwing it into a folder along your path, which you gave me, I was able to see the preset. Thanks so much.
I really don't want to sound rude, but I doubt if I'll do that. Piper was turned into a ghoul for FROST, I think most of the companions were, and un-installing FROST might cause some issues with my game I don't have the time or energy to fix. (Also, I don't know how to do that. Sorry!)
If you really want to use her, and you're using LooksMenu - you could always press tilde '~', select Piper by clicking on her (her ID is 2f1f), type 'SLM 2f1f', and apply Alex's preset to her through the preset menu. (Sorry if you knew how to do that already. And maybe save a preset of Piper's vanilla face to switch back to if you don't like how mine looks?) Thank you for your lovely comments though!
