-NEW UPDATE- Yes its Finally here!!! Now the Holotape shows up when you insert it into the Pip-Boy! along with this are Optimized Textures reducing the file size by over Half!
I had to go back and rewrite this post, because I'm an idiot that didn't read the description. Just wanted to say this is a great companion piece for Pip-Boy 3000A.
Is there any possibility for a compatibility patch to work alongside this mod (With proper animations and showing the holotape when inserting it) https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32025?tab=posts&BH=0
Mmm Maybe.... It depends on how greatly it's wanted, I've stepped away from modding in search of freelance work for games and Media but again if more people want it and are nice about it then I could consider it.
Not so much that it breaks it but instead is overwriting it. unfortunately the Holotape seen during insertion animation shares the same nif as the Pip-Boy, to get my Holotape to work I had to replace the vanilla Holotape mesh with my Holotape mesh. Honestly it's more of a comparability issue with his mod than mine, I did mention that my mod is incompatible with any mod that replaces the Pip-Boy.
Hmm the sas machine may not see use outside of F4NV unfortunately. Though It is one of the many items on a list of things to make/remake, so maybe in the future it might see the vortex that is Nexus.
Perfect! Works like a charm. All visuals are replaced, the main model, the portrayal within the pip boy, the model which appears during the insertion animation. Beautiful! It looks a tiny bit misplaced when running alongside some "uhd" textures, but I'll tweak it myself, for personal use. Thank you!!
There are several things in this game I couldn't get over no matter how hard I tried, but at least the holotape problem had been resolved now :)
Sadly this mod is incompatible with the Pip Boy 2000 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32025? It breaks that mod, and the only way to fix it is to remove the file for inserting the holotape into the pipboy (Meshes/pipboy/characterassets/Pipboy.nif) Would a patch be possible?
I mentioned this would be cause incompatibility in the mod description, if you want both to work and are okay with seeing the vanilla tape when inserting it, install this mod first then install the Pip-Boy replacer mod, make sure to overwrite my mod and it should be fine. As for a patch, considering this is a modders resource, the creator(s) of any Pip-Boy replacer mod should be the one ones who create a patch, however if I get enough request I may consider making one long as I get permission for what ever mod I make it for
Apologies for not noticing you mentioning the incompatibility. I had trouble getting them to work with mod organizer due to the pipboy being in an archive while these were loose files, meaning this mod would overwrite the pipboy no matter what unless I deleted the offending nif file. Also I appreciate you considering to make a patch!

Wanted to ask though, I saw a Sunset Sarsparilla machine image on your profile. Any chance of that ever seeing a release as a vanilla Fallout 4 mod?
