Looks awesome but the crux point for these types of mods is....22+ file dependencies really narrows the field of usability for most...which is fine objectively but packing the mod with the resources built in a stand alone way would make it much more widely usable for more players. Just food for thought.
The issue with that is permission. I'm sure all mod authors would love to just through together mods for the community to enjoy however alot of people that have spend hundreds of hours on their work want to protect it and rightly so. Skyline45 would essentially be stealing other author's work if they included the required files in with their mod and that is a surefire way to get yourself banned, not to mention shunned by the nexus moderators and community.
I understand what you are saying @Dylan i never said to outright use them without permission but more often than not mod authors will grant, especially model resources. I never implied otherwise.
It would be impossible to merge mods considering this is just a blueprint... Plus, I'm no modder. Just really enjoy the base building aspect of this game, and have gotten pretty good at it. Also, please see the "Requirements" tab to see which mods are optional. Most of the mods that are needed for the construction materials, the majority of base builders already use with the exception of a few.
Also, with the new addition of modders being able to use ESL's now, hopefully the old 255 mod limit with ESP's will become a thing of the past xP
unlikely this will be answered, but i keep getting stuck 407 items in on a "rug" the item no longer exists in any mod and so doesnt spawn stalling the build and making it unusable
Weird, usually when there's a missing item the Transfer Settlement's mod should just skip over that object. I do plan on coming back to my blueprints to give them a revamp once the "next-gen" update gets released.
Nearly a third of the mods that are required are now hidden on nexus. Most of which have been moved to Bethnet, and I REFUSE to use their shitty integrated mod manager. Could we get a version that doesn't have these requirements?
Third? Maybe like one. But I do agree the requirements are just top high :( this would be wonderful addition to my Institute Army but I guess I have to make better with just the Main mod required.
Hey CodeNamed. Yea, the Airship mod I used for this is pretty stable. It hasn't received an update since Dec 2017, but the mod author is still very active on the posts tab.
this makes me wish there were groups dedicated to remaking and improving the main questline, like you side with the institute take the brotherhood assests and then a\wpedfk[poW JEFWE LIKE CRAZY HOW MUCH POTENTIAL THEY HAD AND...nice mod tho
Lol, right! I've been trying my best with mashing certain mods together to get the experience I have in my game with my Institute and MM alliance. Aside from the one quest that basically lets them work together, but never expands past that was kind of disappointing. My RP skills have made it work though xP
I'm still waiting on a mod that'll let you take over Nuka-World using one of the Base game's factions instead of being stuck with the decision of being a raider or killing everything. I've tried to make it myself in CK a few times, but never got it down... /facepalm
Think you could do a BoS themed overhaul like this as well? Replace the Institute tech with more pre-war gadgets and maybe a few Pre-War Protectrons or BoS Mr. Gutsy robots patrolling the ship and the airport base?
Nah, not from me. I've pretty much extinguished all the Brotherhood holdouts in my game, because I really hated the way Elder Maxon decided to change the order's attitude on politics lol
You're welcome to revamp the design for BoS, and rebuild a blueprint thought! All I ask is for credit on the original floorplan and interior design. :)
