Sorry for the long delay, everyone. An update is now officially in progress. I just got a new PC that can run this game on mega ultra god settings, and after almost three years of playing FO4 on something slightly better than your average potato, I've been going crazy with texture mods and ENB settings. I've finally managed to get that mostly settled down to where I'm content though, and now I'm as ready for this update as anyone else lol
I'll also be adding a version with compatibility for Militarized Minutemen (as well as some vastly better looking screenshots)
any date on when the update will be ?? :P i love fw minutemen and combined with watm would be awesome so ... good luck and hope you dont run into any problems
We Are the Minutemen just got a new release on 8th June 2019. Hopefully it doesn't impact too much on your update release schedule. Just got a new rig myself and am in the process of installing all the mods I had on my last playthrough.

ANY CHANCE FOR A UPDATE TO THE NEWER VERSION'S OF FAR WEST MINUTEMEN AND WE ARE THE MINUTEMEN. or is this now a abandoned project.? at least tell us maybe even give permission to other's to update it for you.
The author of W.A.T.M changed the name of the esm file it uses now this one seems totally broken. It looks for "My_Minutemen.esp" but it is now called "W.A.T.Minutemen.esm". Can I just rename the other file manually?
Same... technically you could just change some stuff in the .ini and the .esp-files but I have no I idea what to look for because i don't even know the old name of the W.A.T.M. esp and can't find it. If you don't know how to do such stuff... please don't break your files!
Edit 1: I decided being risky. I found the original writing of "My_Minutemen.esp" in the MinutemenMerged.esp and just changed it into "W.A.T.Minutemen.esm". So far the game runs BUT i haven't seen any Minutemen so far so... I don't know give me some hours...
You'll need fo4edit to do this. *First create a fake 'My_Minutemen.esp' *Load the merged esp in fo4edit and rename the Master Files 'My_Minutemen.esp' to 'W.A.T.Minutemen.esp' from File header. *You can delete the fake 'My_Minutemen.esp' now. *Save it and load the Merged esp again with fo4edit. *Check for errors - you will see tons of NPC(Actor) errors. Mostly because of 'Face morph index missing'. *Remove those Form ids which has the errors. *2 errors are overlapped with '"W.A.T.Minutemen.esp'. You can either remove those 2 Form ids from the merged esp or replace the values from 'W.A.T.Minutemen.esp. *Save it. Done.
A much easier way of doing this is to open up the Mods tab in Wrye Bash, and swap the master from "My_Minutemen.esp" to "W.A.T.Minutemen.esp" in the Masters pane. It takes literally 3 or 4 mouse clicks.

Here's how to do it with Wrye Bash. I think is is far simpler. 1. Right click in the Masters box & select "Allow edit." (IMAGE) 2. Right click on "My_Minutemen.esp" and select "Change to..." 3. Select "W.A.T.Minutemen.esm" 4. Click on the save button.
Hey there, just wondering how frequently the Far West content spawns? I installed everything and haven’t seen any of it so far. Is there a patch I’m missing or something?
Vortex is saying this is missing a master file called My_Minutemen.esp and I can't find anything to indicate WHAT exactly that file is. Is it something thats going to cause me problems or is it nothing to worry about?
Anyone know if this works with the lite edition of Far West Minutemen? The mod description mentions that it *might* work out of the box but hasn't been tested by the author. Anyone have direct experience trying this out?
As of 01/29/2022 the patch still works. I just reinstalled FO4 after a couple of years break and was about to throw my hands up on this mod until I saw your response here. Many thanks!
