Using this mod on a new play through, and it plays like a whole new game. Much more challenging. I really like it.
Observations at level 16. Super-Mutants are scary... Power armor is handy. Mini-guns and sub-machine guns don't suck as much.
I've avoided survival mode because because of the goofy damage ratios... this does a much better job of raising the difficulty and fixes many of the wacky weapon values at the same time.
The original game-designers seemed pretty clue-less on guns... damage guide-lines should be based on ammo and the whole hardened receiver concept for raising damage is retarded. A good receiver should reduce the chances of gun jams or your pipe pistol exploding in your hand.
