    Hello!
Just wanted to say that I love the concept of your mod :) I just have an issue; I can't seem to see anything fishing pole crafting related in the techlab. Will it only show up if I have enough survivalist points, or did I do something wrong?
    Kind regards

It looks like there might not be a levelist applied to using the Restored Fan. Edit: Is this effect used since the Restored Fan still makes the Personal fan?

Finally updated this mod after a year...I know by now you don't care about this late response, lol sorry.... that ll_adder thingy doesnt even reference anything anyways so it wont do anything bad.  I will just delete it or make it not show up as an error anyways...

The restored desk fan is a vanilla object so its kinda funny to go along with this mod since your restoring things ...I guess I could rename the horizon "restored deskfan" default item to something else to avoid confusion but I dont like to touch anything like that so this mod is a little less intrusive.
I cant remember at all, but I guess I thought of this when making this mod which is why there is that unused edit, guess I didnt worry about it in the end...

edit: Ah yeah, I see...I just made constructing the personal fan when using the restored fan cost no extra materials so it's like your converting something that already functions into something else...i guess that makes sense....ya, we'll go with that!

Is this mod compatible with horizon 1.6?

I want to add it to my playlist but I want to be sure Its not going to cause a dimensional shift or nuke warp.

It kinda works but some of the things needed for the crafting recipes is no longer available like the old version of Packing Material, Nuclear Fragment and this was made before Circuitry was divided into Basic and Advanced. This goes for the new 1.7 versions too

There some problems with Boston Bugle. Double Boston Bugle in junk category. To craft you need to press on the keyboard up and then down.

I believe there should be two crafting recipes..one should be for the rolled boston bugle and the other is for the, i guess, regular boston bugle.
Theres a bunch of duplicate recipes, but most are separated because of skill requirements. I think that the boston bugles have the same skill requirements so they probably show up back to back..

This might be a dumb question, but since this mod puts certain items under the "tool" tag, I was wondering if I can still scrap those items for their components? Typewriters and telephones for instance have some very useful parts that I dont want to give up on.

Oh ya, you can still scrap them!
I think I might have to actually update a couple of things, like the alarm clock, so it gives proper scrap. I think a couple of things were changed from advanced to basic circuitry.... I believe they were changed in Horizons recent update.....I will update this in a couple minutes.

Its something ive debated about, I didn't want it to be a pain to have to scrap everything automatically...but I also didn't want to have them scrapped by accident.

Hello, small suggestion for yaa. The recipes in the "Personal Hygiene"-section that requires Sanitized Water, I would suggest adding a recipe for the Purified Water to be used too?
I am Level 24 now with a lot of settlements and making 6 purified water per day, can't remember last time I noticed a sanitized water, and since Purified Water is as far as I understand, cleaner than Sanitized Water it would not feel illogical right?
OR perhaps this is for some balance reason that went over my head (as most things do haha)

Oh...good idea! I guess that makes sense.

I really wish this game engine allowed for and/or components in recipes so you could use either....it would have made it nice to have options for the player without having duplicate recipes...

Would it make sense for me to maybe make a recipe that allows purified water to make santized water??? Like 1 purifed water makes 2 sanitized water or something? (Or 3:1 or whatever, i dunno...) What do you think? Then i dont have to change or add any recipes...

I cant do any changes for a bit since ive deleted all of my fallout files and have to reinstall then though, lol...but if you like that idea you could always make the change yourself in the meantime...

Hmm yeah that might be a better idea since it will not clutter up the menu so much. But then again it might be a bit weird to add radiation to clean water just so you can use it to brush your teeth or whatever hahah. But that might be overthinking it a bit too much, I guess my vote goes for making Purified Water into Sanitized. How many it would create per Purified Water should be based on how much thirst the sanitized vs. purified. quench so it will not be a "cheat" to quench more thirst or something.

Yeah i dont know how drinking and thirst really works since i havent played much lol...

But i mean, even if its a 1:1 trade at least its 100% not cheating or off balance since your getting a worse item from a better item...

    Hi!
    I really like fishing part.
Digging chances are a bit un-even, once I had broken shovel after one try, the other time I've got 3 cans and one junk before shovel got broken
    (probably after 8-9 tries total).
Also was it intended to use rather rare Horizon's weapon Board_Shovel "Shovel" [WEAP:431228A4] as ingredient for survivalist shovel?
Vanilla Shovel01 "Shovel" [MISC:000822CB] is much more common I think. Sanctuary has at least one iirc, in root cellar.

    Thanks

Ah ok! I see what you mean, good point! I guess I overlooked that...i dont play much and spend 99% of my time patching. Lol

Chances are completey random, and have the same chance everytime so its really just luck of the draw...its just pulling from level lists. I dont know how to script or anything so its all really simple.

I can make another recipe that uses that shovel too. Lots of items have multiple “versions” and its easy to overlook them...unfortunately cant get to my pc until wednesday when my little man is with his grandpa, but i will do it then.

Thanks for the feeback though i appreciate it!

Yeah your right...i probably should, i’ll update that before i do anything else. Im sure everyone uses it anyways so it cant hurt just to add it to all the items..thanks man

Actually what i could do in the meantime is make a def ui patch. Then when im done with the mod i can just copy the changes over, and then that extra esp will be gone...
I know what you mean though, i hate even having a missing tag on settings tapes added by mods so i do get what your saying...

Thanks for DEF_UI patch! It does get irritating now that you are used to it being tags on everything. Before you showed me how to add it myself in fo4edt, I would uninstall some minor mods just because they did not have a tag to get sorted in the inventory and I did not even know what a sorting tag was until I installed Horizon in October last year hahah ;P

Hahaha...ya i hear ya. Even small things can be so damned annoying. First edit i ever made was to add a tag to true storms settings tape.
