Edit: Because i can't do without making patches.. :b Now there is one for the Voltaic PA pieces, and they should be repairable.

Well, Mechanist Power Armor v2.0 has been uploaded. Feel free to download and check. I imagine there should be no problems, but do let me know if there are any if you update from the now-old versions.. This update features everything, paintjobs, decals, those previous dual headlights and few more extra pieces to pick and choose from. including 3 legendaries.

I'm having trouble with this mod, could you help me? I beat the Mechanist and got her armour, but in workshop mode at Sanctuary Hills, I can't see the tinker table. I looked under "crafting" several times, but it's not showing up. If I can't see it, I'm not sure if the mod is even active...

Is this something I'm missing, or do you think I downloaded it incorrectly? I had Vortex handle it, and it says it's installed.

Yeah you should be picking up the 'Project Mechanist Power Armor' holotape near the burnt out power armor in the Mechanist lair, and click on the last entry in it. That unlocks the tinker table

This has probably been asked before, but I can't sift through hundreds of posts and I haven't played in a couple years lol. Are only the Voltaic parts repairable? When I go to the power armor station, it says I don't have any PA parts even though I have a busted right arm and leg, and a new right arm and leg in my inventory. Also, I was never able to get the pants to work

Edit: and unlocked the tinker table with the 'mechanist project' holotape last entry.. and having mechanist helm/suit in the inventory..?

That's correct, the tinker table is unlocked and I was able to build the suit, but I can't repair anything, I can only add new parts, and my pants have never worked lol.

I'm the guy that showed you that monitor glitch a while back, for a reminder, I'll link my YT video about it

The glitch doesn't affect the tinker table working, I just can't repair parts and the pants/jacket that cover the joints never showed up

can't you add the pants/jacket from the torso's upgrades? they should be there.

and i still don't understand why you're having so much issues with the mod oO

sure, go ahead, but i'm really stumped on how to help you with so many  peculiar issues on a mod that actually works well all by itself oO i'm not sure if its some mod conflict or your game installation even

I was fiddling around with a different mod, and the solution there fixed the problems I was having with this mod as well!

"This mod is incompatible with the main file of AWKCR. If you want to use this and AWKCR, please install the Power Armor glitch patch (way at the bottom) on the AWKCR download page!"

If you had something similar on here, I missed it. Thanks for trying to help me =)

Hm.. i can see how this could be a problem, as i never really meant this mod to be compatible with something i don't use, like 'awkcr'.. oO
is the fix working well for you?

    hi, it really nice mod,
I really interested in the shoulder-mounted turret,

-can it be modded using ballistic ammo like 10mm, .38, etc?
-can you put both on shoulder?
-can it be modeled by ammo type or that War Machine power armor mod?

hm..  It has one/two ballistic options, but i don't think its that good. The shoulder turrets and the 'interface' are merely aesthetic pieces for an otherwise normal gun that fires from an offset. and development of it has pretty much stopped. There is just that one turret.
as for the War Machine PA, i didn't want to add another mod to the requirements, but.. someone could.

that depends on anyone who is a lot better at textures than me xD i haven't seen someone who would tackle making all these different mechanist helm/suit textures, because that's what they are.

This is gorgerous and has a perminant place in my load order. Could you make it easier to get? Like having the actual mechanist wear this in the "FINAL BATTLE"

Ah, ok that one.... Welp I do plan to test that when I get the npc to wear it. Most likely the animation would play but the power armor's helm wouldn't come off, but the helmet would... So in that case I would not include the power armor helm on the npc, or something similar.

as far as i know, power armor animation makes any character actually have very enlongated arms and legs, which is probably the reason why the body is hidden by default when in it. if the animation plays in the power armor, we might or might not have a rather funny or odd bunch-up of the power armor

but that's just my thinking x3

Just wanted to add this armor looks fantastic. And I'm not sure if it'll help but there is a part in the game where Danse put a power armor helmet on right before the mission to ArcJet. Again thanks of the great armor I'm something of a collector.

True, I thought of that one two. Plus some animations do work for Power armor and regular armor. Will just have to test it xD

Also, to let everyone know. Worsin has been given permission to include the Mechanist Power armor in his mighty Garage Texture and upgrade system. So keep an eye out :P

You could look into the script and animation that allows Danse to flip his helmet and put it on when you first meet him. Maybe you can try and reverse that?

Sadly I have no script or animation experience. Hence why I asked Rhutos and Hackfield for the necessary unique scripts I needed. And hence why... The weapon is using gamma gun animations to recharge.

I would recommend just adding it in the hidden workshop in the Mechanist's Lair, maybe with a note nearby talking about how her fusion core ran dry and she needs to find a replacement, hence why she didn't wear it in the battle.

Has this been added? I haven't found anything about it, haven't played the dlc yet, this would make the 5th time but I want it to be different, plus she would look badass with the power armor on, her regular suit is less impressive, tbh her wearing power armor makes much more sense to me

Hello, it's weird, I have played Fallout 4 with the game's texture pack, which is really not worth it. I prefer to use the texture mods from here, which are much superior, haha, I don't think, I also run the game with more than 680 mods for sure It is a conflict between mods I'm not sure I had to start a new game because I deleted a mod that cleans the mechanist's lair that now no longer exists (the nexus deleted it or due to the new nexus policy it is no longer there) and I also deleted another one that makes the lair more extensive but in the end I was not creating the conflict, all I did was place your mod higher in the load order and it worked, I tell you that the armor is very good and original, the ones from bethesda would have That having done this native would have been much better hahaha but well I thank you very much for your work and wanting to share your effort with the gamer community, all I did was put an esl flag on it and test if it worked and works perfect a great hug bro and take care

Pdta: I'm also going to try to lower the textures to a minimum to test and see what is happening

for some strange reason when loading your mod when I go for the mechanist's mission when entering there are no floors as the textures are missing I don't know why it happens if you could give me a clue where to place your mod in the loading order I would appreciate it, armor looks great

i had that on skyrim, but as far as i know, its caused by the computer not being able to render so many high-quality textures. reducing your video settings would probably help? or getting lill lower resolution of whichever textures you use?

edit: and i'm not sure if my armor is having similar texture issues on your machine

i tried CC to setstage etc. about anything and Everything i could find in wiki and forums. Ada is little more than a manikin. i'm pretty sure i mod messed my whole game, still playable but oh the BUGS. i will use it in another play-thru but wanted a standalone to avoid the whole commonwealth 'robot' faction.

'Modded to broken', huh? x] Feels like me during the making of the mod.
But i cannot really make it stand-alone, i can only suggest typing 'help Mechanist 4' in the console, and then finding the armor pieces.
you'll have to choose whether to spawn the regular or voltaic mechanist torso/arm pieces, but the helm and legs are without legendary versions. There is a small Non-PA helmet as well, but that one is hidden by default, because it wasn't working as intended.. so have that in mind if you spawn it.

The rest of power armor upgrades should work as normal..

So I'm having an issue where the Tinker Table doesn't unlock for me, even after checking through the holotape. I completed the quest and checked the location for the tape, but all I found was the tape and no fried Power Armor. Re-read the tape multiple times but nothing's working for me.
Any ideas to what could be causing this issue?

surely you have the mechanist armor/helmet in your inventory..? Ouo
Edit: as for no fried PA pieces.. it could be that there is some conflict with another mod that edits the mechanist lair cell.

I got those, but at first it just the tape and the OG helmet/suit.
And I managed to get it all to work, but I'm still not sure how. Originally I didn't install the patch with the file as Vortex was flashing me a warning about conflicting files and issues with that, but I ended up loading both together anyway and I'm thinking that's what fixed it. Either that or me actually wearing the Mechanist armor while checking the tape and building was the answer all along lol
