v1.1.0: - Added support for NG version, support both v1.10.163, v1.10.980 or later. - Fixed holotape display issue in power armor mode. - Fixed quest tab flash bug.
Can confirm some of the bugs reported here that if you use this with fallui you won't be able to drop multiple items that are in a stack and sometimes your inventory will stop responding all together (Won't be able to sort by weight, valua etc).
There's a glitch with cointainer menus where the dot that indicates what's currently equipped is behind by one click. For example:
Open a companion's inventory and equip an armor piece for them. - You'll see it appear on their character model like normal - Inventory menu won't change
Now equip a second armor piece - They put it on and you see them wearing 2 armor pieces - The inventory now shows the first armor piece
Third armor piece - Companion puts it on and is now wearing 3 armor pieces - Inventory menu updates and says they are wearing 2 armor pieces
I've been trying to figure out what's causing this to happen in my game for a while now, and I finally found my way here. I wish there was a fix, though, but it's nice to see this isn't a one-off issue.
Just a heads-up for anyone using this mod alongside Start Me Up Redux (or the regular version, but for your sanity use Redux), when using the Quick Start option and going to set your SPECIAL stats after exiting the cryopod, the game locks up. Best I can tell, this is because the game isn't paused thanks to Fallsouls, and the terminal overrides any pop-up menu. You'll have to change the settings in MCM to allow pausing in terminals to proceed.
This mod is great! Removing the menu-based pausing stops it from disrupting the game's post-apocalyptic atmosphere, and takes away the player's unnecessary ability to take infinite time to think and utilize inventory items in combat.
My only issue is that having vendor menus unpaused creates a few problems. Practically, mobile vendors don't treat you like you're still in dialogue once their trading menu opens, so they immediately begin to walk away, which causes the trading menu to break pretty quickly. And aesthetically, it causes vendors to say their ambient player-presence dialogue at you over and over again. Does anyone know of a patch/additional mod that would solve these issues?
Isn't there an MCM option to disable the mod in various menus like Barter? You could probably turn off all but, Book, Container, Lockpick, Pipboy, Pipboy Holotape, Terminal and Terminal Holotape menus as these are the ones who immediately affects gameplay in an unimmersive and potentially cheaty way.
Alternately, if this doesn't work - you could try console command: set timescale to 0 (to freeze time) set timescale to 20 (to return to default time)
Yeah, the MCM options work just fine; having the mod turned off for the Barter menu specifically was the solution I ended up at too.
It’s still a good gameplay experience! I just posted this in case anyone had a solution that let me have everything I wanted, lol. Thanks for the help!
Any chance to get an option for the favorites menu while assigning items? Not while using it to swap items but while in the pipboy adding items to it. I love this mod because I hate the idea of time stop when Im looking at the Pipboy. However, this seems to cause a problem when assigning items to the favorites menu because the Pipboy is still active behind that menu. So just a favorites menu time stop option should work.
Is possibly a conflict but I have turned off every mod I can think that would mess with it. All that seems to fix the favorites assign issue is turn off Fallsouls for the pipboy.
