Hi All, Thanks for trying out the mod. Hope you like it. I highly recommend saving before approving the floor plans at the terminal. That way you can try each floor plan once before locking yourself into one size. The reason I made the selection menus only available once, is because of the way the save file allocates space for the mod. It’s better to make you choose, and have it work well through out the play through, than to mess up your save file 30 levels later on because there are references to rooms that no longer exist.
I provided the no-resources version by request, I will entertain making a no weapon/armor version as well if enough people request it. But in truth this mod was intended as a "cheat" from the very outset. I'm not trying to ruin your games, but It does make the first few levels less tedious for the returning player. Enjoy
Hi all, I'm still around but haven't touched this mod since it's release. Basically because I haven't had to. If it ain't broke... I've considered updating the mod and would be open to any reasonable suggestions. What I'm entertaining at the moment is adding Nora's Shotgun, and completing the combat armor set in the locker with custom textures if there's any interest.
I had also considered doing a custom retex of the walls with something a little more HD and refining the floor plans but I'm of a mind to leave well enough alone. Let me know.
First off, thank you for your contribution to the community. The mod does exactly what one hopes it would: It gives you a customizable player base using the Workshop mechanic. You can stock it with whatever you like, with minimum fluff and effort.
I don't mind the weapons, they're not overpowered by any means, they're basically just access to some higher tier modifications on weapons you can get if you understand the game. I mean, there's a guaranteed combat rifle just outside Covenant at the ambushed caravan site, and another in the raider shack next to Pickman's Gallery, so early access to a Combat Rifle isn't particularly game-breaking if you already know where to look.
What do you mean by 'the weapons will grow with you'? Is this the usual 'get perks to make weapons better' mechanic, or do the weapons themselves have some sort of level scaling built into them?
Added, I reused the vanilla covers, but I don't think they add to the total available count for the game. The mod was intended for returning players, it seemed reasonable to give those three base level perks along with the guns and armor.
Sorry for the very late reply, for some reason I wasn't notified... and this doesn't get a lot of posts. Enjoy the mod.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to say I'm still around and the mod is not forgotten. I've just never needed to fix anything so nothing gets updated. I was considering adding a combat shotgun. Nora's "The Judge"But seeing as there were no requests I've let the mod alone. 2020 ends tomorrow and it's been a heck of a year for everyone so I'd like to say
Have a happy and healthy new year, and hopefully a better year for us all.
which floor plan? I verified each fragment, before release and included the source code. I'll definitely jump on that if I glitched something.
Just retested everything from a virgin download and a vanilla profile. Both with and without. I messaged you below. we'll move to testing your installation. Thank you for helping me sort this out. I'm hoping it's a simple download or installation error.
Mod was tested before release. I went through all floor plans. So did several others. Of course that does not rule out the possibility of bug or a glitch that we might have missed.
This problem could also be a load order issue. Have you tried to move the mod among last files in your load order? If you are using Mod Organizer, then move resource folder down in resource priorities as well.
That sounds like you did not run through all of the screens. But the first question is does it say
"Please Update you're Construction Status Report" Status Update Pending - Immediate Action Required" or just "Status - On Schedule"
If it's the top one, you need to run through the screens If it's the bottom one The stage didn't set. No floor plan was chosen, so the second "last chance to change your mind" approval screen never set the next quest stage. I'm testing the set right now ... was it with or without resources?
Everything seems to be there but it won't accept that I have updated the report.
I select a layout,it goes to a confirmation screen,I select the confirm option which takes me back to main menu but the 'requires immediate action' is still present.
I thought I had commented here already. Just had to say that I have had this installed from the day it was released, and I don't ever see it coming out of my load order.
Thanks, I have to admit I don't really check on the mod too often. I still have plans on an update but RL sort of got in the way for the time being. Bills to pay and such. I'm hoping when my schedule opens up after the Holidays I'll be able to revisit some of my mods. Your kind words are much appreciated.
Hey ya Avrie05. Man this mod is exactly what I've been looking for. I wanted a shelter from the freakin rad storms besides that cave. I do not like useless clutter and your excellent mod is just perfect. I've tried all the sizes and never had any sort of problem, but I always go with the first option because I only have one companion at a time, well I do have Heather also. The quest is outstanding, not overly or underly complicated. The notes and terminal entries really add beef to the Sole Survivor's backstory. Thanks for the mod, your work is very much appreciated. Keep up the good work. Semper Fi.
Thanks ... I've been considering an updated version with additional floor plans, and "Nora's" shotgun :) I should have some time to work on it again this summer.

my terminal gets stuck in a loop and I cannot approve the plan and thus cannot open.

Whenever I selected unlock the message "must approve plans" appeared.
I would approve a plan (tried all) and it did not change the main menu and it would not unlock.
Am I doing something wrong.
Gutted because this looks awesome

It was with resources.
