If you notice that your raiders are spawning with armor pieces but no clothes, you can fix this in xEdit. The problem happens because the AI prioritizes the armor value over the clothing, but the clothes don't allow for armor pieces to be equipped simultaneously. Load up the .esp xEdit and make a patch that removes all of the Torso, Arm, and Leg values from the Body on the clothing (you can leave Hand, Headband, etc., just remove those 5 values). I then added a "38 [U] Right Arm" value to all of the Helmeted Cage and Helmeted Spike armors ONLY (mirroring what Armorsmith Extended does with those same pieces from Vanilla). All my raiders spawn with clothes and armor now.
This does not fix the invisible texture on the Bloody Farmhand Clothes. I ultimately removed that armor from the pack altogether and removed it from the LL entries it was in as well.
Hello TheOneAndOnlyHitman im in the procces of create a framework for paintjobs and gear like AWKRC bud lightweight and i want to integrate some paintjobs for clothing, armor and power armor i like to convert Project Variance to paintjobs and integrate them in my framework with proper credits of course I mean no new meshes, all the retextures to new materials therefor compatible with all body mods
"i send a message to your private box but you don't answer" I mean therefore
Love the work that you have put into this. I seriously 'need' this variance in my game. I'm really curious to know if this will play nice with Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO) and M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter. I'm guessing that since ECO still works mostly with AWKCR, it should play nice if I have both installed. I like AWKCR a lot with all that comes with it and is available for it. I've been trying out ECO since it's came out and I'm really impressed with it. Figuring out how to use Complex Item Sorter has been a blessing that I've been missing since I've started adding unique mods. If it's not possible, well I guess I will have to figure out if I can get it to play nice while running AWKCR with ECO. As for Complex Item Sorter, I understand it makes things nice with VIS-G, however I don't know if things will get tagged nicely under Complex Item Sorter with all the variance.
When I was strictly running AWKCR, I couldn't resist using AE, which gave me a lot of naked bodies if I was using a lot of other mods that put clothing and armor on people, unless it had a patch for it. It made me sad as there were a lot that made them nude that I tried or wanted to try. Heck, ECO might offer something that patches the bridge between to two to offer what AE does while un-nudding them all, or at least a workaround.
I doubt this is gonna happen, but could somebody make a patch that makes this compatible with Armorsmith Extended? Just tried this with it and it removes the ability to make the leather armor pieces invisible, which is kind of a deal breaker. (Also it removes all the other nice features from AE, but that's the big one.)
