how can you make the animations so smooth when the dev themselves cant even do it? this is why i use mods and i am fearful that fallout 76 is gonna be a big let down :( mods make the fallout game. vanilla is poop.
Your mod does not work with MO2. I've tried everything to get it to work even just running the game with just this mod and it does not seem to work with MO2. Only NMM
Have you changed the falloutprefs.ini in the inbuild ini editor of MO2 or just in the fallout folder? All ini changes must be done with the ini editor for MO2 as far i know.
so i have recently decided to install a better spread pattern for the double barrel to make it more usable and one thing i discovered is that i think the range of the weapon depends on the animation correct me if i am wrong, Before using the mod for the spread the range on the sawed off was terrible so as so, i downloaded it (Here-https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3957/ ) It really helps the performance of the shotgun but i keep getting the same stock animation (as in the default reload with the regular barrel or long, non sawed off animation) , could you possibly change the animation to stick to the sawed off barrel mod specifically? or...? anyway love the work.
They are not tied to the animation. This mod author modified the DNAM for all shotguns and Object Modification (weapon mod) of the sawed off shotgun. He left vanilla values on range and damage, as a result, if you load this mod with more priority than that mod you mentioned the shotguns will be nerfed to vanilla.
It is very easy, however, to just make those changes to this animation mod in fo4edit
