Hey everyone. Thanks for the well wishes. I've been laying low for quite a while working on some other things while I dealt with some life issues and my health; and I plan on picking up where I left off with this mod fairly soon. Things have been a bit of a rollercoaster for me, I had to get some surgeries, after that I went to help a friend on a job and fell off a roof; Ended up breaking my leg, ankle and foot, which required more surgeries! yay! Not being able to stand for long periods of time anymore made VR was near impossible to enjoy for quite a while, especially titles like Fallout 4 VR. but now things are way better. I think my run of bad luck is about over. :D I spent most of my time working on learning Unreal Engine, in preparation for another project; I even remade the Fallout 3 intro inside of Unreal Engine and put it on YouTube (search Fallout 3 Intro Unreal Engine on YouTube if you are curious!) Anyway! I'm finally ready to get back into this, I can really get back into VR, so I will be working on this again.
A few things to note here, I've missed quite a bit as far as game updates and other mods go, so I have some catching up to do. I am going to try and make this mod as compatible as possible with other mods. Game updates have changed a few things here and there, but nothing major that would screw the mod up. Just keep an eye out! :)
And if anyone wants to contact me regarding this mod or anything else, my Discord ID is ol' rdtg#6526
I'm finally taking a look at the mod here. If you are a F4VR user in 2023, this mod is obsoleted by any modern precombine building mod like my PRP mod anything depending on it or based on the master file from it.
With that said, a commendable effort from 2018, though flawed.
okay, so i did what everybody told me and copied the dlc contenct from pancake f4 into vr. i get the far harbor quest, which is a good sign, get send to nakano house but cant get there. invisible walls everywhere and cant select the house to port to, since my cursor cant go off map. i hope this far harbor fix, fixes that problem
Hey there, I dont have the C:/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/AppData/Local/Fallout4VR/Plugins.txt file because there is no 'C:/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/' directory. I only have 'C:/Users/public/'.
incorrect, no you don't, you're new to computers.... that "Your Username" is whatever your real name is or computer or what maybe named... and also if something doesn't show, then select "show hidden files"
I am giving up on this. No updates in five years, the instructions are for previous versions, and one of the downloads is so weirdly misnamed that I can't even tell what it's supposed to be.
Fallout VR Guide Compendium says this mod is outdated and causes constant CTD's. I suspect this mod was the stuff at one point, but it just hasn't been updated.
I'm noticing that the load order in my plugins text changes every time I launch Vortex. Do I have to manually ensure the follow files are at the bottom of the plugins.txt file every time I use Vortex? *RDTG_BaseDowntownVROptimization.esp *RDTG_BaseInteriorsVROptimization.esp *RDTG_FarHarborVROptimization.esp *RDTG_NukaWorldVROptimization.esp *RDTG_DLCCompatibility.esp
Slightly confused, would I use this mod or DLCVR - Fallout 4 VR and DLC standalone bug fixes or both. Both reference each other in their descriptions, but it's not clear if you should still use both or only one.
is this mod still working? right now I'm using DLCVR - Fallout 4 VR and DLC standalone bug fixes but it not fixing everything, in the pack the ground is missing and in dry rock gulch some wall textures are missing. can someone please verify if this mod works today because I don't want to do this entire prosses for nothing?!!

Hope you're doing well and aren't like, dead :(

Does anyone know why?
