I haven't tested it, but it looks like that mod works by changing the dynamic item naming rules, not the items themselves. So the mods should be compatible.

Consider checking in with SPECIAL - Dogmeat's Canine Costumes (Fallout 4 Nexus mod #6235) - While they're not incompatible, you offer different armor values than they do on their custom dog stuff. As it stands, I am using both mods and enjoy both! Your mod offers about double the resistances they do (10/20/30), whereas their custom dog stuff is at 5/10/15. I mean, I suppose one could reconcile that yours is outright resistance, while theirs is less resistance tradeoff for the unique perks...

Anyway. Cheers. Thanks for this mod, it's clearly a must-have.

Can you add in the various dog collars, please? (regular, double, chain, spiked, and reinforced)

Personally I don't think the collars should count as armour, so I don't plan to include them.

I completely agree with you on this. It's silly to include them. Great mod, btw.

--Whelp, if I ever start using Dogmeat again (able to take 2 companions/max my rep with each follower) then I'll be sure to get this mod. I like Dogmeat.. but just maxing my followers for their perks.. though some perks are eh anyway.. though them Lovers though :} Curie has a new body and she wants to be "touched".

Companion perks are pemanent, the individual is not required to travel with you once they have "perked" you. So feel free to swap companions when you max them out.

Armorsmith extended makes edits to the dog armor items, so if your using that make sure this mod comes after it to get the DR. One could also load both mods up in xedit and carry this mods changes over to AE.

Just curious, what does removing the non playable entry on Nick Valentine's coat do in this mod?

The armor doesn't show a value when I view it in his inventory - is this just a cosmetic error/limitation? A few pieces show stats, but they say "0" on em...

On the PC you can use this on settlement dogs by equipping it to them with openactorcontainer 1. I think its kind of a cool idea to help your guard dogs by giving them a bit of armor.

It's a shame the armor is so hideously ugly. They really didn't even try to include things for companions, it feels like F4 was rushed to market. Then again all Bethesda games have that feel, if it wasn't for the modding community saving their hide a lot of their games would be intolerable. So good work to the modders out there. Here's hoping someone fixes the dog armor, whilst it's nice that it actually provides armor it's kind of pointless given the dog's immortal anyway, but it would be even nicer if it didn't look like crud. :<

It's interesting for beginning armor but it would be nice if there were upgrades. Maybe a nice leather armor, some ballistic weave. Then of course an upgrade to other companions would be nice too. When the GECK comes out I'm sure all this and much much more will be available.

--Well I wouldnt say all that XD the detail in FO4 is krazy.. the amount of stuff one kan do is almost wowing. Hell, really, they didnt HAVE to add Armor for Dogmeat.. but did, that saying something. Other then that.. Armor on Dogmeat is still useful as he wont TKO as quick.. thus needing that stimpaq revive.
