Im sorry but what mod did I download? Can't even walk around in sanctuary, there is no ground! Just blank spots Preston fell in and now can't continue mission 😭 😭 this is the 3rd time I had to redo from scratch! This mod was working fine yesterday!! But now it's completely unplayable, it's the Atomic Age: world/location overhaul
This is a great mod, I've been playing it since it's earliest incarnations. It's been interesting to see how it has changed and improved over the years, and how the mod author listened to people and made changes without getting defensive (I remember those early high level gunner placements which were sort of crazy - sort of miss them at times!). The mod has just gotten better and better. Thanks for the ride!
Love your mod! :D I have it as part of my WJ collection~
I've had a user report a crash though. :O
"I entered a building in Urbandale where the father is a ghoul. Frank something. The crash occurs when I try to exit through the same door"
Loading up xEdit to find the culprit, I'm not finding anything in particular. Just wanted to know if maybe there's something that would be causing that issue, because I'm not too savvy on things that would cause a crash upon leaving an interior. lol
u can try downloading a clean save from here on Nexus, and try adding mods 10 at a time or 20 at a time .... , until you see which one is giving you problems with Atomic World, and be careful with the load order im playing OG (no simple downloader, i mean pure OG) 1.10.163
Still playing this mod every single time. Also talked about it on Steam as the number One mod of all to have. Even above CBBE and transfer settlement blueprints.
Now a question to either the mod author or the group if I may: - Via console commands I have found that many more "Arisen" faction NPCs must exists above the four that I found in Hades. There are references ot 8 or 9 Arisen faction NPCs in the game. Any hints on where they are?
Also I found references to ArisenGuard quests, yet cannot have any conversations with arisen guards that I did find, beyond them telling me some trivia about Hades. Anyone have any hints? I am not looking for all the full answers, just hints is fine.
PS: To the mod author Leo: I gifted the arisen in the comic shop with a small arsenal of extra ammo, armor and better weapons placed in the gun store displays near their home
Hey I was wondering if you would let me use your mod as a companion mod to my map overhaul, Hope in The Ruins, you will be credited and have your name on the monument in game, I already have 20 percent of the map overhauled, I just wanted to use your mod so I can build around it and expand, I’m also adding 16 new mutants, 8 of which are done. I’d be super grateful if you agreed
@DesmondBeGood Will your overhaul still require Atomic World's plugin as a requirement, or will it be incorporated into yours?
I think in my humble opinion, for the sake of compatibility for existing patches and people already using Atomic World in their playthroughs, this mod should still be needed as a requirement for yours.
It will be a requirement don’t worry, it will act as a master, I thought of that, bc many people have this mod in their load order, so it’ll be easier and simpler to run and if people want, easier to patch other mods
Thanks! Keep an eye out in the photo gallery, I post my progress, you can also check my profile media, thanks a lot for the support! God knows I need it lol, it’s all solo done by me
heya, loving the mod first of all, the only thing that I haven't liked is the mushrooms in the glowing sea, they are very jarring visually, and was wondering if you could make a version/ patch that removes them? sorry my mistake, thats fungal forest doing that
im trying it rn, its actually part of an add-on pack for the a story wealth, so i assume they have already validated that it doesnt conflict with their existing locations
Most of the "towns" this adds to the northern-most part of the map have doors with no regular coded names(just little squares in place of where you would see letters) that lead to void cells. No crashes or anything, you can just turn around and use the door again, but those interior cells are completely blank.
Edit: Upon further examination, the cells aren't actually "blank" per say, but rather a total clusterfuck of geometry rendering...like what sometimes happens when an npc gets dismembered and you have that stretched tether between the limb and the body...but EVERYWHERE. It's not just a texture issue or something either...even the "local map" for these interior cells is completely borked.
All the exterior stuff added by this mod is flawless. It's only this mod's interiors I have this problem with, and I have absolutely no clue what would cause this.
Does this add a bunch of high-level enemy spawns? Because I'm running into a lot of really tough enemies around Concord, and I don't know any other mod I'm using that could do that.
yeah im having that problem myself having to disable because i really wnat to do atlas summit as apart of america rising 2 and i havent exactly found any patches for this whole issue

Hey Guys thanks for the support and giving the mod a chance, it really means a lot to me.
I hope you all have fun playing!
Available now on Xbox and PlayStation!
many thanks to the author for putting it up.

I've actually learned a lot since originally posting my comment. lol
Might have fixed it already tbh. xD

Edit 2: Found the culprit. An erroneous prp patch.
