Hello, sorry to bother you with the endless questions hehe

I have been meaning to try this Retro Fashion mod for awhile now but I am still not sure. I like the look of almost all outfits and I would like to see them on Triggermen and perhaps some random npcs but not police uniforms on DIamond City guards and such. Does any of your versions do this or are them all like the original mod with either just crafting or distrubution to "unfit" npcs (in my opinion, not trying to bash the mod ) I know it says something in the description about the different versions, but I feel like it is something I don't understand, I will blame on my english language skills haha so what is your advice?

Hmmm im at work and cant quite remember how everyhing is found but i left everything as is, except one world space edit that conflicted with horizon, i think it added two outfits to dead bodies. So it can be crafted but is also added to npcs like the original. I just added a lot more crafting menus so things are sorted better because im just ocd’ish that way...hahaha...

Usually if a mod adds clothes via script it should work so i leave it, its kind of nice to find the stuff. I dont mind aome crafting only mods, but I dont really want too many patches of crafting only...but until i get around to making a big level list patch for a bunch of mods im just leaving it for now...i probably will get around to it once i finish redoing my cross cybernetics patch...oops im rambling...

The world distribution file just edits a few main npcs, not random ones, as far as i remember...i would use it, i imagine it makes some npcs more unique as they should be.

The mod author seems really cool, and i guess hes the one to ask, i think hes playing horizon too and possibly using this patch so maybe hes the one to ask lol

Dont worry about your english! Its all i speak and im horrible at it....hahhaha

      Hey!

      Thanks for your answer !
I agree that only being able to craft armor is no fun, it is a good option but if I had to chose I would rather find it than crafting.
Since you confirmed that you have not altered the distribution and such, I will probably ask the original mod author like you said or try and find it in fo4edit, if that is possible. Just finished vault 114 mission, wish I had installed the mod before hahah.
Im starting to get hyped for that big leveled patch, would be super handy as long as it is modular or whatever it is called . Hope you will share it here just like your other patches
Thanks again for taking your time to answer

I’ll always share my patches! Only takes 5 minutes and usually feedback can improve them anyways. The way i look at it even if a small patch gets 10 downloads at least someone else got some use out of it!

Hi again, since you are very good at making patches with FO4edit, do you mind answering a question if you know it and have some extra time on your hands?

I want to replace some of the unique NPC clothing edits from this mod with the "vanilla/Horizon"- clothing, but I still want the clothes to spawn on Triggermen and other Leveled lists. I found under "Non-player character (Actor)" a line called "DOFT - Default outfit" that is normally saying for example Skinny Malones "MQ104SkinnyMaloneOutfit...." in vanilla/Horizon but with this mod it is some other outfit called "SkinnyMaloneOutfit...." overwriting Horizon. If I drag over "MQ104SkinnyMaloneOutfit...." and replace "SkinnyMaloneOutfit...." will the NPC revert to their original clothes then or have I misunderstood it completely?

Edit: Nevermind I ended up reviewing all the changes one by one and could agree that 99% of them was a better fit than the original outfit
