You rock. This makes things so much more immersive for some people. It goes well with the Same Sex mod :) It is interesting how you can have relationships with women and men in the game, but I'm always personally uncomfortable with that. Gives me the willies. I can only role play so far.
As in adding another perk, no, not really. The way Bethesda made their perk tree is VERY restrictive. You could just combine the effects of both into one perk if you wanted to, but that would be kinda cheaty. Go for it if that's what you want, but that's not the goal of this mod.
sgtmcbiscuits, I got the similar question on my ‘MTO Perk Swap’ mod on here (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14087) so I am not surprised you were asked about it too. My answer was just like yours, I felt combining them would be a little overpowered to do.
I agree, it is more realistic to have both perks available. However, it would unbalance things. In New Vegas, it was balanced by having two separate perks, thus requiring two perk points to get both effects. Unfortunately, with how the Fallout 4 perk tree works, it's pretty much impossible to do that in any seamless fashion, and would be rather roundabout. Therefore, the only options are to keep it as only one effect, or add both effects to one perk. However, I felt that was against the vanilla balance, and this mod certainly isn't meant to change balancing.

i mean i use this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6446 (witch is kinda like both black widow and lady killer) i can understand if you wish to use this mod because you want to be specifically a female lesbian, or a male homosexual but for the most part, to me the mod i listed seems to make sense to me to real life, after all wasnt the first fallouts come with the optional trait called sex appeal, not lady killer, or black widow? i mean sure sex appeal didnt add a damage buff, but with all of the damage buffs in fallout 4 do you really need one for this?? i dont believe so but still fallout 4 was made that way, as such i think its a bit sad that they didnt make one for ether gender or as the mod listed shows both genders... ether way this mod seems interesting if indeed you go about it like i listed in the beginning of this... ether way if you use the listed one or this one, both took work and are interesting for their uses :3

Because, as listed below, I believe it sticks to the balancing of the base game more. Sure, it would be more realistic if someone, regardless of gender preference, could "flirt" and things with both genders. I 100% agree, and think that New Vegas got it much more correct in that regard. However, I wanted to stick to the default balance of the game. I made this mod for people that agree with me on that. For those that don't, you're welcome to use something else. More options is never a bad thing. I just didn't find the option I wanted, so I created it myself.
I don't think that the mod you listed is bad. I'm very happy that it exists, because I know a lot of people want something like that, and that's fine. I, however, want something like this, which is why this exists.
You can create a more game-friendly reasoning for yourself, if you'd like. For example, if you were a lesbian female, you may feel uncomfortable trying to charm men, so it's not effective, therefore you don't get the buff towards them. In that regard, you can say it's more based on the character's confidence than sexual orientation.
Again, it's really just a matter of preference, and you can create whatever reasoning you'd like for having this mod, the one you listed, or anything else.
very well put and read, indeed i did wish FO4 had the sex appeal perk rather then those listed, however i do understand the need for one or the other, and yes your right about it all being said, along with perks i do wish their was flaws as their are with real people, i shall use the same example you did, the female lesbian, indeed she might beable to seak to woman better, but she might not handle men as well just like you said, however that being said you would think that she might do more damage to them while being unable to talk to them as well, or even perhaps as a flaw she might be unable to speak properly to men at all as it might be due to her past, i do think its a shame that FO4 limited the characters they way they did, and kinda forces them to be good people, still i like your mod's idea and think you did a wonderful job on it even if i have not used it, after all you poured some of your heart time and efferts into it, so i hope if i said anything to offend you, that you didnt hold it against me and accept that isnt what my intent was, still thanks for the responce, as not all respond to me
I actually saw your mod, which is what made me decide to create this. I liked the idea, but I wanted something that is more compatible and easier for users. In yours (and the other mod that does the same thing that I know of), the perk requirement is just swapped. In mine, the perk effects are swapped instead.
