Can we get a basic vanilla friendly non-fomod version so that I can run it without a third party program and that you can also make it compatible with consoles?
Minor thing but this mod is coming up as out of date on NMM, the highest download is V 1.1 But the Stats bar on the site for the mod (above the screen shots) is V 1.2
Don't know what I'm doing wrong here but your mod isn't activating. Downloaded the NNM, made sure the box was checked. Checked over everything twice, all the files are there but scope unchanged. Would you mind giving me a quick run down?
That's weird... let's see: 1. We are talking about the basic pipe weapon "reflex" sight, not the sniper ones, or the futuristic combat sight, right? 2. Your Fallout.ini contains the "bInvalidateOlderFiles=1" and "sResourceDataDirsFinal= " lines? 3. You DON'T have another mod with an esp that redirects the pipe reflex sight to something else than the vanilla nifs? Quick way to check is to temporarily disable the esp in any mod that alters scopes.
If all else fails, try to load this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6965/?tab=files on top of mine (it alters the exact same files). If that one fails as well, then it must be something wrong with your game.
Alright! Apparently I was adjusting the wrong .ini file. I was lead to believe it was the Fallout4VrCustom when it was the Fallout4 file. Your mod works great! Thank you for your time and work.
I find that the easiest to use VR sights are ones that have different colors for the front and rear sights. Any chance of releasing a version that has green rear sight dots, and a red front sight?
Man am I glad to see this mod. It was really bugging me that I couldn't fix these weapons with my super basic texture and nif parameter editing, and I was worried that I'd have to learn how to use Blender just to finish out my mod. But now I can just point people to this one for the homemade weapons instead!
