RobCo Patcher is now required to get my clothes to spawn inside of Fallout 4 containers.
Remove all old files from older versions.
The ENB-Effect "Complex Parallax" will cause visual bugs with my clothes.
How to obtain this clothes? They have a small chance to spawn inside of container that have clothes inside. If it is a container that can have prewar clothes the chance is higher. Shops that sell clothes also have a chance to have retro fashion clothes for sale.
Best places to find clothes: If you use the World_Distribution Plugin you will find many of my clothes worn by Triggermen. So best do the Nick Valentine Quest to get something. Also its good to check Fallons Shop from time to time. Other good places: Skylanes Flight 1981, Skylanes Flight 1665, Boston Airport Ruins, Vault75, West Roxbury Station, Boston Public Library
How will I recognize that I am picking up something from your mod? The clothes from my mod always have brackets with the color behind its name. Like: Fedora (Brown)
Is it possible to increase the chance that the clothes spawn in containers? Yes, open the VintageInject.ini with text editor (located in Data\F4SE\Plugins\RobCo_Patcher\leveledList\RetroFashionOverhaul) You will find lines like this: filterByLLs= Fallout4.esm|0007593B:addToLLs=Retro_Style.esm|0100A027~1~1~0 that are duplicates of each other. To increase the chance they will spawn in containers, just copy past this lines. The more there are, the higher the chance that clothes will spawn.
As per your description it says ---> If you install the optional "World Distribution" file, the clothes will also be worn by NPCs. <--- Yet, you don't have any such optional file in the files section
Crucial mod. The kind of work New Vegas desperately needed but never got. Other users! -Some of these have invisible left arms in 1st person, just forewarning.
It works without RobCo Patcher. The only thing RobCo Patcher does is placing the outfits in containers/stores. If you use the Distribution.esp you can still get the outfits from NPCs (Triggermen). Or cheat yourself the outfits.
I’m at station where u save nick and confront with skinny Malone for the first time, and yes, all npcs are wearing brand new nice suits, it’s amazing, however, this mod will give me a split seconds of stuttering whenever there is enemy respawn(at least what I thought), if I remove this mod, stutter is gone. Enable, stutter is back. So I just assume it’s caused by making newly respawned NPC wearing the mod suit. Any fix for this?
Ok this mod not only made me stutter in the station area but also across the whole game in different region. I’ll have to give up on this until a fix. Nice mod btw
I downloaded this in 2018. Only now can I play Fallout4. Is the 2018 version still valid because the Game Launcher does not indicate loaded mods. Also, IF I ever manage to download the Creation Kit from **** Steam, is it easy to put selected clothes into the game - I want the player to have access to tailsuits / tuxedos used by the Overseer, and to find his old police suit in the ruins of his old house. Pitty that the Evening Tailsuit does not have a Wing Collar.
