It feels like there's something inherently evil about turning every character into gays just because you are too. Not that I'm criticizing the mod, the more options the better. Just a random thought that popped into my head when I saw the description.
is it necessary to voice you think gay people making their own representation in the absence of it as "inherently evil" if it's just a random thought? doesn't seem that random
i'd also consider centuries of abuse, murder, and sexual assault by heterosexuals trying to "fix" gays to be much more ~inherently evil~ than tweaking a video game.
How can it be evil? They're not real. It's just a video game. They're pixels on a screen. It's not like they're sending real life kids to conversion therapy camps...you know...like what homophobic people in real life do.
I don't think he means like in a alt-right way of " inherently evil about turning every character into gays just because you are too." I think he just means why can't it just be both genders? Like both male and female characters get both perks. He is by no mean disregarding what people in the past done to gays and what-not. (atleast that's what i hope)
So does this mod just change the increase damage to X gender or also this persuasion? As I prefer to play male character but I want to be a guy who can persuade almost everyone and I don't like being a female just to have better persuasion. (I play survival. So no quick save scumming)
I suppose the extra damage makes sense. But with the Dialogue persuasion buff, technically the sexuality of the other person is what matters. i.e. if you are a Gay male your male 'victim' has to be homo/bisexual in order for you to have any advantage. If you see what I mean. I suppose you could pretend everyone in the wasteland is bi. Good mod though.
Yeah let's say that it is exactly in the same way Bethesda pretended that all wasteland is heterosexual with the perk. Ridiculous. Extremely ridiculous, but there are plenty of things that Bethesda make in a ridiculous way I just don't see too much people that point out it when it is for heterosexual incongruence like you did here. etc. ""Strange"" Oh well, all the same.
@Yusei0 Thank you so much for this mod. I will download it as soon as I return in FO4. It is always nice to see mods that rebalance things to make the game more realistic/ equal. Keep it up!

@JaneShepardN7 I'm a gay man myself, which is why I point out that charming straight men is pretty difficult. (At this point in my life I'm starting to think it might be impossible) And all the followers can enter homosexual relationships with the player so it's not like everyone in the wasteland is straight. I'm pretty sure they just wanted to do the perk from fallout 3,(where specific dialogue options were added to specific people, so can assume that those specific characters were straight) but they did it lazily without thinking about it too much. Because Bethesda. Considering how 'WELL' Bethesda do things I'm glad they haven't done anything with sexuality, it's the last thing you want them to mess up.
Uhm i think they want the perk, but for F4 it isn't needed, with the dialogue you can do everything, leave the sex scene or the more serious in-game relationship with your companion to people more capable to do this thing (see Mass Effect 2-3) Beth is not good in this type of in-game relations
when playing the combined FO3 & FNV using TTW (don't know what mod enabled this) but I had both perks on my male character. It enabled me to get some perks from Major Knight at the Mojave Outpost :D
Good on ya for making this. It will be great for those doing same-sex playthroughs. I'm a hetero Pride Supporter (bi-curious since I was a teen) and I'd love to see more Honest Content like this
Outstanding. I'm going to pretend this perk makes my character emit some kind of pheromones, so it don't matter what orientation his or her "target" is.

Obsidian did great with those perks in New Vegas, why Bugthesda can't is beyond me..
If Bugsoft is going to include the ability for same sex, they should have had other options for it as well like this one.

Anyway, this mod makes the perk descriptions show up in German for me. Anyone else? Or is there just something extremely weird going on in my game?

If you are gay/lesbian you maybe don't want your Character to hit on the other sex.
