For some reason this mod did not work for me. I had an infinite loading screen when trying to leave Shamrock Taphouse, followed by an infinite save on my second try. Both of those issues came after fighting the molerats near the Drinking Buddy. I should also mention that both molerats and radscorpions would sometimes refuse to move unless I approached them.
A bit late but... Do you have UFO4P? The reason I ask is because a seemingly/virtually identical mod to this No Tunnelling Enemies, needed a separate version for UFO4P. Note, I've note used either tunnelling mod so can't confirm.
Still works in 2020 and prevents that horrible crash Bugthesda never could be bothered to fix. Can't believe it only has less than a thousand downloads. I wonder how many people have been hit by the molerat bug...
To everyone saying this mod doesn't work, or that the creatures still burrow/tunnel... you must have a mod conflict. Because this mod works flawlessly. I just tested it with the bloodworms at Dry Rock Gulch in Nuka World for a looong time. They never go back underground for any reason. I tried making my own mod to do this for bloodworms for hours, and then I came across this mod that already does it... SIGH. But, I'm super thankful! Thank you! ENDORSED!!!
The Bloodworm's don't stay topside instead they go up then down and then they don't come back up again ever, it's a bit annoying when you have companions with you that are still shooting at them and wont stop until you move out of the area.
im so glad this finally became a thing.. i hated wasting bullets when just go back under the ground and i find it little lore breaking if count the past fallout games or at least with fallout 3 and nv cause molerats always be on top. to see them dig through ground that fast is kinda...weird as well considering shouldn't be that possible i understand its a fantasy sci fi things but that sorta pushed it though. at least one they pop out of the ground and stay up at least looked like taken them awhile to bury them self's. so thanks for this hehe.

At any rate, I switched to No BloodWorm MoleRats Scorpions Teleport-BugFix and was able to get past that fight just fine. And the molerats were active as soon as they came out.
