Unfortunately I must verify the reported bugs. This mod will break your whole settlement energy setup, related to both, wired and wireless. This will result in failure of anything connected to any source of power. Initially I believed it was because I have a custom day/night cycle, but reviewing the script, the solar switch will happen regardless. I think it's a mesh problem.
To bad, this mod looked splendid. The idea was splendid as well. But breaking my game is not really a thing I'd appreciate.
This mod breaks the game, it works well at first, then it breaks it. At night, every time you reach a settlement you have to put the electrical cables back on and it forms a chain of errors in the grid.
I am using conduits(the tubes and bulbs you can stick together) to have more control over what lights are turned on since I build myself a little "photo studio" within my my home settlement. Conduits also have a more clean look... that being said. I wish you could make a small conduit version of your mod that one simply plugs in between the main power grid and the lights one wants to power according to the day time. Or would multiple sensors stress the game? Thank you.
I really liked this mod, but for some reason when i had nighttime pylons in certain settlements and i left, when the day night shift happens and im away from the settlement, the power grid I set up on the pylon goes out, and bugs the settlements where i lose beds, food random parameters when observed from my pip boy. I thought it was the settlement bug that came with the game, but once i removed those pylons and I tried another mod with similar set up with nighttime switching of lights on and off, all the settlements were stable. I dont know if it was other mods, I do have mods that add conduits, and lengthen wires (im not sure i still need that one) so its strange to me. Great mod nonetheless and endorsed.
If you are looking for just night time switches, Zebrina's Workshop Devices works great. It doesn't have day time switches, but it does have night time switches. Even Zebrina suggested I use this mod for day time switches and their's for night time
Zebrina has nighttime switches as well. (Sorry i didnt see this sooner) However, im finding that the scripting from those switches can cause some frame drops when you approach a settlement.
Every time i try to enable it says "Mod can't install since it depends on files that aren't present" what am i doing wrong? both nexus and Bethesda.net file's dont work please help!
