She looks like some sort of troglodyte in my game, but I have all of the prerequisites. It's like the preset when I load it ignores the Extended Facial Sculpting mod. (Which works otherwise.) She looks great in your screenshots though.
As it turns out, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the female file, and the male file apparently works fine.
The problem comes when they both exist: the male file being present causes the female file to no longer extend the list. Changes made will still apply (this by itself puzzled me to no end, because my test savegame was still showing changes, just no options in the list), but the new sculpts won't show up.
You can fix this by yourself by deleting HumanRaceFacialBoneRegionsMale.txt and HumanRaceFacialBoneRegionsMale.txt from \data\Meshes\Actors\Character\CharacterAssets\, but I'll have a new copy of the main file up in a moment that will hopefully just work (as long as you uninstall the previous version).
^In short, if the male and female files are installed, one will override the other, make sure you only have the female files of Extended Facial Sculpting mod installed.
Definitely needs more requirements(sarcasm), you may want to ask the various authors to include their assets into your mod yourself for that amount of exterior assets...yowzer
Version 5 is uploaded and most of the description page has been removed. The required files are in the proper section. Banner has been updated, and yes, that is version 5 superimposed over the official CGI face.
Asian Face Enhanced - I used the Narrow Eyes face parts for V5 so the eyes won't look right without this mod.
Though not really a hard requirement, The Eyes of Beauty Fallout Edition - is needed only because I used one of the custom Brown eyes for the V5 preset, so if you don't use this mod, you'll have to set the eye color in Looksmenu.
Recommended mods : The Eyes of Beauty SHJ Edit - Has several eye fix mods included and has better vanilla texture replacements than the original mod. I use the loose files version so I can use the custom eyes from the original mod and have the better vanilla eye colors and built in eye fixes from other mods. Female Neck Tweaks (Version 1.1 - Experimental Smoother Face) makes the jawline contours smoother and without this mod, your face won't be quite as smooth as it is in the screenshots. As a bonus, it also will most likely smooth out the jawline of your other presets as well.
As for skin mods, I use Valkyr Female Face Textures, but you can use whatever face/body skin mods you want.
Just to let everyone know, this will be my last preset upload. Kind of ironic that I would end things with a last update of the first preset I ever uploaded, but I've come to realize that I've spent waaaaaay too much time in character creation menu.
6-4-24 : The current Fallout 4 update has broken LooksMenu so my presets/replacers will not work. You will either have to downgrade your Fallout 4 back to the previous 1.10.163 version or wait for Looksmenu to be updated. For those that didn't read the last part of the sticky above, I left FO4 modding back in late 2022 and moved on to Skyrim SE in Jan of 2023, I likely won't be returning.
Hiya! I'm having some trouble getting the presets to work correctly in-game.
I followed your install instructions in the description page, even installing the face sculpting mod (only minor divergence made was that I used the 'paler' body mod option, rather than the 'vanilla' option you specified). The presets do show-up in game, and they do make a difference to the model's appearance, just not the correct difference (they look about 60% accurate to your pictures, but like, low resolution, 'pudgy' versions). Most notably, all of the presets lack eyebrows, so I would guess this is a deployment issue (idk, I'm not so hot when it comes to coding nowadays).
I've tried trawling through the forum for troubleshooting advice, but haven't yet found anything that worked!
If nothing else, I could try deleting both Fallout 4 & all my mods, and then reinstall them all. But my internet is on the slow side, so it'd have to be a final option kind of situation to warrant doing that.
I have managed to take screenshots of how each preset looks in my game, with the correct name/label highlighted, so I'll try to attach them to this post.
Thanks in advance for any advice!!
(Edit 1) Tried uninstalling Valkyr 1.1 and replacing it with the 1.0 version. This caused even more problems, as then the whole 'Presets' option was greyed-out. Re-installed Valkyr 1.1 and this reinstated the presets button, but did not have any effect on the original problem.
The face shapes themselves seem to be rendering properly, it seems like the eyebrows and makeup are not showing up, this looks to be a looksmenu issue of somekind, could be a bad install, not sure. As to you using paler body vs vanilla, you can try using the vanilla version and see if that does anything.
Whatever the issue is, it's clearly something on your end. You either have something overwriting your mods causing the eyebrows to not show, or something is either corrupt or not installed properly. I just now redownloaded my face preset file from the downloads section and this is what I got, keep in mind that I now use an ENB and the K Makeup mod, so some of the lipstick on my end is now dark as a result. Otherwise, this mod is rendering properly in my game:
Lara Croft 2013 V1:
Lara Croft 2013 V2:
Lara Croft 2013 V3:
?Lara Croft 2013 Alt Makeup, note the dark lipstick due to the different makeup mod now being used, you will note this in the V4 screenshot as well:
Lara Croft 2013 V4:
Bonus screenshot, Lara Croft V5 finished but unreleased, yes, I decided to take what I've learned in the last 3+ years and apply it using V4 as a base, it will get it's own mod page when ready:
The face presets all work properly, so whatever is causing your issues, I can't say for certain other than it's definitely on your end. I would try reinstalling looksmenu and looks menu customization compendium and see if that resolves the issue. If you do end up nuking your mods and game, please make sure to make a backup beforehand so if you find that it was just a mod install issue, your work won't have been nuked for nothing.
Tried just about everything I could think of (including uninstalling all mods and adding them back one at a time, testing a new game with each etc) to no avail.
So, sadly, I've gone ahead and purged the lot, uninstalled (& removed) all mods, uninstalled the game from steam, and deleted any remnant files from file explorer. It's probably gonna take a good couple days to re-download everything, so I'll reply to this post should I make any headway!
Cheers! Managed to get the game to re-download overnight (I'm really surprised it downloaded that quick), so I've started adding mods back in now, starting with the basic stuff like F4SE, BodySlide, Looksmenu etc.
(I'm using Vortex for the mod manager btw)
After the basics, just installed your presets and applied them! The overall 'effect' applied seems more accurate to your pictures. I'm not using K Makeup yet, so I'm assuming some of the differences I can see are due to that.
Oh, also, for some reason, some of the presets have black lips (?).
Tried it with 'The K Makeup' Mod, which helped get rid of the black lips on some of the presets, but the presets are still about 80% accurate to the official mod pictures, or the pictures posted in your reply
I use Mod Organizer 2 myself, wouldn't consider using anything else. Took me a while to learn it, but once I did, I could never switch back to Nexus Mod Manager or anything else.. Funny enough, I now use K Makeup, for the black lips, just change the colors for the lipstick and/or lipliner, that should fix it.
The presets look about right in your game, and I note that the makeup and eyebrows are showing again, so that's good.
The final version (V4 preset) is scarily accurate! I can't even begin to guess how much work has been painstakingly put into it. Great mod, endorsed! If you're looking for a Lara Croft preset, look no further, this is the most accurate one and it (and she) looks gorgeous from any angle, no angular shapes sticking out or anything.
Thank you for the kind words, I did indeed put a lot of hours into it, and you're right, it's still the most accurate Lara Croft looks menu preset to this day.
I just finished the final version for my Curie replacer. I will be making an AIO featuring V2 Cait (Will only be available in my AIO), Curie, and V2 Piper which is available on my Piper preset mod page. I consider these my best works, but Lara being the most accurate looks menu preset to this day is something I'm very proud of.
It's hard to believe that it's been nearly three years since I first made this preset, perhaps someone will come along and make an even more accurate version, I look forward to that day, should it ever come.
As to angular shapes sticking out on the face, I'm glad you brought that up, that's a personal pet peeve of mine and I work very hard to either eliminate it entirely, or minimize it as much as possible.
I install the mods and all the required ones. What's next? How to make Lara's face? The only thing I found in her hair. Why is there no tutorial for this? The present option is not appearing.

I don't know why but i can't make face line on pik (no one v don't look like on screenshots). V4 looks old. wtf. If someone know how to fix this plz help.
I Just ran into the same issue as a few have on this thread. I have all the mods as required, but the "presets" button in the looks menu is grey'd out. I tried using 7zip and put the files in the data folder myself, still nothing. I'm using NMM. HELP!!!
Can you post a pic of this issue you're having? One thing that I should mention that I just realized is that I've never updated my Valkyre face texture mod since version 1.0, if you have a later version, try installing 1.0 and see how that turns out.

2. Extended Facial Sculpting or Extended Facial Sculpting Sliders - Unofficial Update
3. Looksmenu
4. Looksmenu Customization Compendium
For V5, there are 4 hard requirements, for versions 1-4, only three.
Everything else listed in the requirements, is NOT a hard requirement.
You can either use Extended Facial Sculpting or the unofficial update version known as Extended Facial Sculpting Sliders - Unofficial Update. Either one will work.
The second hard requirement for V5 specifically :
Asian Face Enhanced - I used the Narrow Eyes face parts for V5 so the eyes won't look right without this mod.
Though not really a hard requirement, The Eyes of Beauty Fallout Edition - is needed only because I used one of the custom Brown eyes for the V5 preset, so if you don't use this mod, you'll have to set the eye color in Looksmenu.
