Version 4.0 changes all form id's - a new game or clean save is recommended! Don't blame me when you loose anything - read the description before updating!
Please note that i did a new game when i did this mod - so updating from an older version is untested and you might get some weird issues, but this MIGHT work:
Fast-travel away from the Riverside Apartment (Like Sanctuary or RedRocket), also make sure you don't leave anything back like Bobbleheads.
Save your game und UNINSTALL the old mod
Load your save and and go to the location where my apartment was and check if the door is not there anymore (Fallout 4 embeds some intems into your savegame)
if there's still a door load you need to find a way to reset the cell (google it!, but it should reset when you sleep for 7 days)
if theres no door anymore install the Version 4.0 and go.
ah it's not a super big deal, i was just really confused cause face 02 is my go-to base and it wasn't there haha, maybe write in the description that it does this? i had to deactivate a bunch of mods to find out it was this one.. I'll just use this mod on saves I already have the face done :) thank you!
I love all your home mods I have used various ones on different play throughs for mostly XBOX ,but now that I have a new PC up and running again I am missing the Shaggy apartment ….
Great playerhome! Have been using this on PS4 and now on PC as well. I love the boxes for the settlements as well, makes the beginning of a new settlement easier. Thanks for sharing!
This mod is great and my custom follower sandboxes doing all kinds of animations. I only have 2 questions and one is in the sticky but was made before this new version so I will ask again based on this new version 4. Is it safe to scrap the small trash piles without messing up the navmesh or idle markers? Is it safe to scrap the shower as I would like to replace it with a modded one that works for the player and NPC.s? Again this mod is great, a keeper and thanks for your work.
You need to test it for yourself with place anywhere. Any other scrapping mod is untested and generally unsupported. I heard some ppl will get CTD with scrapping the trash piles, not sure why, i can actually move and scrap everything fine using place anywhere. The PS4 version is complete untested with scrapping mods.
Thanks for the reply and I wanted to let you know I just finished scrapping all the trash on the floor and the shower. I replaced the shower with a working one and added a slot machine to the living room and soda fountain to the main bedroom from the Vault 88 DLC. In the main crafting room I added the following workbenches; Armorsmith, Weaponsmith, Ammunition, Junk and Explosives plus some chairs. My follower uses all of it and everything works fine. I have 201 active mods and yours is loaded before any of the settlement/player home mods I have with no CTD's. Perhaps the folks having CTD's have a mod conflict but I do not believe your mod is the problem. I don't use Scrap Everything but I do use Spring Cleaning plus 2 others. I use Place Everywhere and have the "add extra selection" toggled off most of the time to avoid deleting something I shouldn't.
i have no idea what Clean and Simple does tbh, it seems just to fill up your workbenches and removes the scrapable objects... My Riverside workbench is already filled with some random scrap, and the 3rd floor can be scrapped in 1 minute. I can't believe the ppl are to lazy for that...
I think the only version of C&S that would affect this one would be the version that includes Hangman's Alley since the locations are close to each other. I don't use that version of C&S, but I do have another mod that alters Hangman's Alley. I'll have a look when I get that far in my testing playthrough as I need to clear the alley first before adding that one.
my mod only changes the navmesh in those areas, and adds a few items near my apartment. I also cleaned my mod with xEdit. As said before im not using "Clean and simple" so i cant do anything. Maybe the author of Clean and simple can do a patch?
She might, She's been good about it before, IIRC. And I'm not certain how exactly it conflicts, I'd never seen quite that effect before, sorry I can't be more descriptive!
Have you talked to Jenn about it, Salensis? If not, wait until the new year. She's been working herself to exhaustion with C&S and the FOMOD installer . . . and fretting over some Pre-Vis issues she needs to get patched.
She and I seem to get on okay, I can talk to her in the new year about a possible patch. But she does have a version without Hangman's Alley, and is working on instructions on how to make your own merged patch. I'll be using that myself after this playthrough cause I want a version without Sanctuary, RR, Castle and Hangman's. I'm doing Vanilla except for a select few settlement mods this round. and I may remove Scrap Everything as well and just live with what I can't scrap with Place Anywhere.
Awww, too bad. never liked garbage in my home but I think I can live with it. I like the mod and it's a great little house. Only downside is that I use mods for Hangman's.
Would you consider moving it down beside the next bridge to the east? Don't know about others, but I tend to use that bridge more.
Nope sorry.. The mod works fine for me - both on PC and PS4. I can actually scrap the Garbage with Place everywhere on PC without crashes so maybe you have a mod conflict.
Can't see how, but I have Place Everywhere and Scrap everything. Maybe it is SE causing it. Oh Well. I'll live with it. No worries.
Edit: Ya know, when I first saw this mod I pictured myself sitting on a lawn chair on a balcony and casting a line into the Charles River. LOL Oh, you mentioned Roof Access? Buildable to add a lawn chair, beer cooler, and fish off of?

- Avoid moving / removing static objects with scrapping mods - theres a reason why they are called static objects - this messed up pathfinding!
- theres an ingame terminal with a detailed changelog - this is easier for me to add changes since i can them add directly in the CK (yes, im lazy lol xD)

Endorsed and appreciated!

In what way is it not compatible?

Yes, What Daremo stated, The version of Clean and Simple that expands upon Hangman's Alley appears to conflict with this.
Specifically, it appears that both versions of the cell are present, and this renders neither usable.

The CTD happened when I tried to clean up Garbage off the floor in the room with the armour & weapons workbenches.
Only downside is that I use mods for Hangman's.
