For the people who say its freezing when you save or enter a new cell you might want to give it a minute, its saving a lot of data and mine took a while but just played through normally
If it locks up in saving for more than a few minutes, try alt tabbing and just waiting in your desktop until the game audio stops, alt tab back in your game and it should have forced your main menu to pop up, try saving again after that and it should save fast, i wouldnt consider the initial long save a good one tho so make sure to save after.
Same thing different item number. Spending a couple hours disabling the missing items in the json file. Find the item number that's stuck on and delete that section in the json file.
I really love this setup but sadly on my meager i5 and GTX 1060 I can't handle the 12FPS this mod causes. It's bad enough that Sanctuary with all the scrappable materials gone drops me down to 40FPS as it is...
This version was optimized in direction of performance for half a day.
If you like the blueprint and your fps drop --> scrap the things you like least. A blueprint is not like a weapon model, you can interact. Don´t be lazy, I invested enough time here.
Space2jump isnt wrong we can scrap what we dont linke and its cool we get a say in that.
I also figured out why it kills fps, basically you have a lot of walls tripple layered... so for each 1 building you made it acts like 3 and has the performance impact of 3. times that by all the buildings there and it hits us hard. Also the power conduits are in the hundreds. and there is a power generator for each main building but each one powers various parts so its hard to pinpoint were its all going. power conduits could be cut down by half if just allowing more distance between them.
I say all this to people that need to scrap a bunch so they know how to keep your settlement intact for the most part and get good fps. I gained around 15 to 20 fps and got it to a playable level. took id say 16 hours of work to do that and it still could be improved but i just dont have more time for it.
I'd like to report that when you scrap anything that is built by the Sanctuary blueprint, or by you, some of the wires in Sanctuary stop working and leads to (in my case) the door in the General's house being closed, and the school's neon lights getting shut off. Tested using Workshop Framework's Layout System. Also, interacting anything that uses power does the same thing.
I can't use this blueprint because when I place the transfer settlements computer it doesn't show up even though I downloaded the file and added it to Vortex.
Since im getting extremely annoyed now, by all the freezes, i would love to know what im doing wrong. I lowered all graphic settings to lowest, sanctuary is all scrapped down. I am not moving, nor talking to anyone. I use stable preset, i lowered my resolution aswell.... yet when i try to save the game, it ends up being an infinite freeze.... What am i doing wrong???
Is there a recommended Sanctuary Hills cleanup mod that works best with this layout? I have tried a couple and some of them make these pieces fit a bit awkwardly.
Hi, So I was wanting to try this mod and I can't get it to show up at all when I hit import in transfer settlements mod. The pipboy screen just remains blank as if it cant find the mod file. The manual to install is a bit confusing. First off I use Vortex, so of course I downloaded the mod manually, and dragged it into vortex for it to install. Doesn't work. I then follow instructions more closely and install manually without vortex, making sure to put the extracted file to the blueprints folder that was created when I installed the transfer settlements mod. no dice, still won't find it. I then put the mod in the transfer settlements folder rather than in the blueprints folder, still nothing. At no time is there a numbered folder created automatically, so I then create a folder within the transfer blueprints folder and named it "1" then put the mod in there..still nothing. Maybe someone can help with what I'm doing wrong? Btw, I've not yet nuked the settlement, I have however, scrapped everything I can first, as the directions say I should. To afraid to nuke the settlement until I know I can actually install this mod.
Thanks for the link and reply. I have, in the interim, managed to figure out how to use the blueprint. I then ran into another issue after the installation was 100% complete. I first tried to fast travel away, and game froze. So I reinstalled your mod again, waited till it was finished, (which takes a very long time with this blueprint method. fascinating to watch the first time, but not the second time, lol...I then decided I will run away from the settlement before trying to fast travel, so i ran a bit past red Rocket, then fast travelled and froze again. At this point my life was ebbing away so I abandoned the whole notion of using blueprint mods at all. Workshop framework sounds like a nice alternative.
I have run into an annoying problem in your Sanctuary Hills settlement: The brahmin are gathering in front of the workshop bench (main workshop), and blocking access to the house alltogether. I have tried to build several new feed troughs for them, they just ignore these. And I have tried the ref id moveto player console command, this moved the beasts to my location, but they immediately go back to the house with the main workshop. I hope this isn't because of the container in the kitchen of the house, which contains all my food and chemical items (aid items). Hope you can tell me what the problem could be...
Aside from that, amazing mod, also have your amazing castle mod installed and in use...
