Hello! I have a few questions regarding this. Does this cover only one thing of the skin like most textures or does it cover smooth, weathered, wrinkled, ect.? I'm desperately looking for a skin texture that is vanilla based but just improved but also permits usage of appealing moles and deLuxe makeup.
I also like many others, request that you do a female version next please. I actually have a certain bug with the vanilla thick downward eyebrow for male and female that has a long slightly visible line on the character's forehead, even with a proper load order and no mods to conflict with one another.
The mod covers five facial texture sets available for men; cover diffuse maps, normal maps and specular maps. You can use this with any mod that adds scars, overlays and so on as long as they don't rewrite the base face textures.
I'm not going to make a female version of this since I don't play with ladies in this game.
I followed the install instructions and still got the darkface bug. Still used the darkface fix. It happened the first time I installed this and I assumed it was just a fluke. Nope, it wrecked my game with -no other mods- installed. Textures started acting wonky, were in the wrong places, etc, plus the darkface bug. I reinstalled fallout because literally nothing was helping. I just installed your texture and am having the same bug. Thanks, now I have to reinstall the game AGAIN (which takes between 24-48 hours where I live) and I still can't use one of the prettiest face textures I've ever seen. G fuckin' G.
Seems like you didn't installed all the required mods or did it wrong. I used my textures with both vanilla and modded game and only got dark face when I disabled the required mods. No need to cry about your internet connection, I do have even worse situation. Use mod managers next time, and you won't be needed to reinstall the whole game.
Hey :) these look really nice. Just one question: You say I have to install the Real HD Face Textures first which are in fact Face Textures for both men and women no? Because for my female characters I'd prefer to use Valkyr Face Textures.
I'm not sure you won't get a dark face, but anyways, you have to install the required mods for both females and males, and then try to install whatever you prefer more.
can we please get a female version due to the fact the only way i can have my female npcs and pc not have the neck bug. alll other female texture mods dont work if i use real hd file
lets say one doesnt use looksmenu...is i still possible to downscale an dinstall? cause everytime i ry i get the black face bug,and i dont feel like installing 2gb on my hard drive to have everythig upscaled to 2k,im guesing hte vanilla game doesnt have 1k maps for everythign whihc is a shame cause the female version works...bethesda is really trying so hard to make mods harder to do...and faces always uglier

so i used 1k normalmaps saved in inteltextureworks standard compression,and the diffusemaps i had compression isues,so i used standard dxt5 compression...i'm not 100% sure it is actually working ingame...but ill add a picture so you can judge...
yeah i have a pretty much vanilla game got it in librarysharing from a friend,and i dont even like it too much
Diffuses need to be saved in BC3_UNORM, normals and speculars - BC5_UNORM, otherwise you'll get dark face. Judging by the texture smoothness, everything works just fine.
thanks :) i never understood why my game looks so horrible...might be for the performance setup i did on it :\but those textures are great...i also love the deusex verssion...but that's definitely not what i had in mind for my playthrough...dont wanna end up playing as jensen

Judging by the texture smoothness, everything works just fine.
