any possible chance to get the recipes moved to a crafting table dedicated to them? like the deep fryers from slocum joes would be nice...maybe just moved over to that menu?jus a suggestion lolmy cooking menu is so cramped rip
CoryScopis: Thank you for your comment. This mod is designed for Vanilla Fallout 4 so that All users can use the mod. The Deep Fryers at Slocum Joe's is Creation Club content and therefore Paid content. I do not want to force any user into Buying mods to be able to get the full experience. I hope you understand.
def understand... i meant as an optional download or something haha.. def wouldnt wanna put anything behind a paywall.. totally understandable if its not an option
CoryScopis The CC content is a blight for PC players as it is PAID CONTENT, where as for console users it is a blessing, because they now have access to some mods, even though it is Paid for I think it is good, in that respect. As for me, I don't use a console and therefore will not pay for mods, so, I will not be writing mods that use it. However if you or someone that wants to make a patch for this mod, go for it. (I don't have the Slocum Joes mod so I cannot mod for it.)
Unusual, I will look int this. I fear a mod conflict, but would you do me a favor and reload the game and see if it happens only on the Ketchup recipe. Make sure you have all the ingredients and let me know where the cooking workbench is located.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59501/ adds hamburgers and other contemporary foods, including new models and pictures I believe, it also provides custom ingredients such as ketchup that you have to buy/craft. You could take a look at that and maybe ask the owner of the mod for the usage of his models/pictures.
After looking at his mod, I found only items native to Skyrim. I did not find anything that would port well into Fallout. Thank you for bringing this mod to my attention, he has done some very nice things that took a lot of time and thought. Having said that, I would like to be able to make items that fit the fallout world in a more natural way.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my mod and give some valued suggestions.
More information please. If you've done something with the mod that makes "more sense" let me know what it is and I can incorporate it. If it's OK with you.
I just really need to find someone with the ability to make some decent images for the burger stuff.
Well, the mod I linked for example, has its own custom pictures and models for foods, so that's why I told you about it :p. So I made my own mod, added the Skyrim's mod's resources to my fallout folders and then used Fallout ingredients, alongside some ingredients I made myself in the tes editor. For example, I made cheese with Brahmin milk, ketchup (has a model from the Skyrim mod) with tato's and corn syrup, the corn syrup I obviously make with corn. I make the bread with razorgrain and purified water, the burger itself also uses a model from the Skyrim mod.I also made fries with tato's (tomato-potato hybrid), and corn cooking oil, with salt (an ''empty ingredient' I made in the tes editor).
Well, he won't be able to do what you did unless he goes to that author and asks to use those assets. You using them for your personal use is different than publishing them on Nexus.
One question, why are you using TESVEdit? That's for 32 bit Skyrim. At the very least you should be using SSEEdit for the 64 bit Skyrim, But you should be using FO4Edit
Well yeah, that's why I asked him and I quote "and maybe ask the owner of the mod for the usage of his models/pictures." As far as your concern for my editor usage, yeah I use FO4Edit, I'm just oldfashioned with naming it I guess.
Grishnah Thank you for the information, and I don't mind you doing whatever with my mod. so long as it's for personal use. Since my mod only uses vanilla assets to maintain compatibility for XB1 and PS4. I didn't want others to have to download a secondary mod or patch to have fun with the mod.
Having said that, IF you want to release a patch for the mod, I have no problem with that. Some may find it a nice enhancement. Let me know if you do and I will do what I can to help get the word out about it for you.
For the time being, I have changed the images for the hamburgers from eggs to something a bit more visually acceptable. I try to keep the images set to vanilla content so that the mod can be used by PS4 owners. If I upload custom images, then the PS4 community cannot even see this mod on their consoles.
to my knowledge, he just makes eateries, I have not played his mod to see if there is custom food. I have made no special place, just have Trudy sell it at Drumlin's diner for the time being.
Currently the new items all use vanilla assets by the looks of things. I just loaded the mod into FO4Edit to have a look at what it changes. The plugin has "lite" in the name which tells me that another version of the mod with new assets may be forthcoming? Could be wrong.
I'm looking for someone with the ability to make the models. once I get that sorted out there will be pics.
and yes there is a version in the works that will let you make all the ingredients to build a burger. You will be able to craft ketchup mustard, the burger meat and milkshakes, and ALL the fixings ect

Maybe with a 5 room motel like structure behind it.
Sounds like an interesting mod idea, you should run with that and build it with the CK. I'll do what I can to back you in your new project.
