It would be better to see an actual example video rather than a movie clip. But whatever I'll download the file and listen to it. BTW I like Silent Hill as well. It is not just horror it is beauty <3 TY for the mod
Edit: just downloaded the file and yeah I like that.
Amazing mod, but it really is just an ordinary military airstrike siren. Works with the game amazingly TBH, should've been the default pick of Bethesda
Oh god... it would be so lovely if the alarm would start when the weather changed to Radstorm... is there a way to do this? Just imagine you walking around and suddenly the sky becomes cloudy and everything becomes darker... then the alarm starts... And you know you better run to a safe location, because with the siren comes danger... radiation and anything that comes with it. (i know there are mods that spawn ferals wth radstorms).
That's a weather/time switch. With it, you can turn on lights and the siren during severe weather or at a specific time. I had my settlement street lights come on at sun set and turn off at sunrise (roughly), and the lights and siren would come on whenever a radstorm hit. Knowledge of logic gates/switches is very helpful for this setup.
Many thanks for the help, but i don't think it would help me, since i wanted the siren to play with the weather, not only when i am in a settlement. But then it could play when in Glowing sea, and it doesn't make much sense. I guess it would need to be scripted... And i don't have a clue if this would even work lol
Man, oh man. Adds so much to an attack now on a settlement. Used in line with D.E.C.A.Y., Terrifyer, Darker Nights (at darkest setting), and Vivid Weathers (which has a Silent Hill fog mode), and my jeebies are significantly heebied! Also, it's a freaking air raid siren. Why wouldn't you have any other sound for it than this in the first place?
Brilliant! Thank you for this! Nice to know there are still some of us old school Silent Hill lovers out there.
We actually still have one of these where I live to warn of tornadoes, floods, and fires. Sounds exactly the same. You can hear it at least 15 miles away from the siren. We live about 3 miles away so it's pretty loud were I live.
Dude ... This must be intense ... I live in Brazil and so I do not have to be afraid of nature entering Beast Mode and destroying everything along the way (except, of course, when it is not ourselves that we provoke it to the Mariana Dam style). The only sirens next to Silent Hill that I've heard here is the fire station, and that's when it's REALLY SERIOUS, like an entire military base on fire (as was the case in the past from the old ammunition factory that got it fire) or something similar to the fire event of the Joelma Building in São Paulo. The worst is: Depending on the location, it's no use making double masonry houses (concrete double brick walls) with "hill effect" outside to break the wind ... F5 still breaks it all.
I love you and hate you at the same time for this. It's a perfect warning siren but f*#@ing hell is it creepy and I like that. I had a weather overhaul mod installed on NV that added a similar siren for when a deadly radstorm was about to appear. First time I heard that was during the night, I was new to the game with all the mods installed and it was night time so I had no clue what the f*#@ was gonna happen.
This would go so well with the PILGRIM mod and a mod that makes night time very dangerous in the commonwealth.
MAN, just a mindblowing and devilish idea that I had now... AND, WHAT IF... I put this mod with: PILGRIM (That ENB From Hell)... CREEPY MONSTERS OF WASTELAND (That turn the "beautifull" ones more "beautifull", like the demon itself) DEATHCLAW VARIETY (Because with this, now when they roar, you will feel that you are very, very dead). +Glowing Eyes for Deathclaws (Because it's a "Must Have" with Infinite Darkness Mod activated) INFINITE DARKNESS (I already said why). RADEADIATION (because the vanilla rads SUCKS A LOT - IT'S THE FWKING RADIATION MAN! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE DANGEROUS!!!). Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, TRUE STORMS (with the mode of Ghoul Horde when raining rads activated). - - - And with that, what I have in mind is the scenario below:
"The night sky becomes starless. The sound of abnormal thunder denounces their coming. You hope they do not get into the settlement, that it's just another "normal" Glowing Sea storm - until you hear that chorus of inhuman screams of madness and fury. You run into the chemistry workbench, looking to build a climate-cleaning cartridge, but there are no materials. You have only one option: to survive the approaching storm. The radiation brought by the rain begins to make his Pip-Boy whistle nonstop, making him think for a moment that he may have broken, but the weakness you feel brings you to reality in time to hear the warning siren ring. First you hear the sound of the turrets firing madly near the gates. The guards shoot equally desperately. Soon, in the minutes that follow, muffled by the sounds of thunder and torrential rain, you only have time to hear few things ... Hear the sound of his turrets being destroyed. Hear the sound of cries of help. Hear the sound of hordes of ghouls breaking their defenses. The sound of your best gun firing, of men and women next to you imitating your movements ... Hear the sound of a "click" coming from his last ammunition ... And at last he hears that nameless roar of pure rage and thirst for blood ... You see, that even if you glimpse through the darkness of night and storm, a pair of eyes staring at you in the dark and with the green glow of profane thunder, the form of Death is revealed ... And she moves past the bodies of the gate guards, over the slaughtered ghouls, the ammunition capsules scattered across the floor ... She steadily advances by shots and screams, unstoppable by the barricades and defenses, indomitable by her natural rage. Tireless, tracking blood, metal, and gunpowder to you. Finally, you finally understand the reason for calling this abomination "The Claw of Death"." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - For me, THIS is the FALLOUT that I wished the BETH launched... And thank you for giving another "piece of hearth" that Fallout missed to be truly complete. <3 Ps: My english sucks a lot. Forgive-me if there was some mispelling in anithing.

Thanks for this mod!
And still I never found a way to play the siren with the radstorm...

I almost never spend my time in settlements :p

Edit: Sorry, I see it's already answered.
