Thanks for taking the time to check out The Playboy Mansion at Coastal Cottage. This is one of the more challenging locations to build on, so I wanted to share with everyone what I envisioned here. I tried to keep the number of required mods and the overall import size to a minimum. A lot of these mods you are probably already using, so it should be easy to install.
I know it's not /exactly/ the mansion, but I took a lot of design from the real thing. Please don't post your OCD list of complaints lol. DO post some great pictures of your parties! ...I'm really trying not to have to list this as "adult" so let's keep those girls in Bunny Suits!
If you don't like the grass showing through the floor you can use the console command tg to toggle grass off.
If you need any help I'll do my best to help you have a great experience. Enjoy!
Version 2.0 is out now! Some major changes, a lot of minor changes. Added a new power system that uses mini reactors and automatic night switches, 5 locations: the Main House by the couch near the front door, the Game House by the Nuka Cola machine, the Resident House club level next to the elevator, the staircase behind the Grotto to the Defensive Wall, and the cellar which doesn't use a night switch.
The Main House staircase has been completely rebuilt and the back roof area has been improved over the entrance to the Presidential Suite. The Main House also connects through to the Defensive Wall now.
All rooms of the Bunny House now have their own power and lights.
Lots of funishing and decorations throughout including, a DJ Booth over the Grotto, refurnished Sexy Dungeon, refurnished Game House, and Trophy Room.
***Snappy HouseKit 6.0 users will need the additional Deco Kit file. Thanks to Tokolosi for making me aware of the changes in version 6.0
***Using the Utopia Generator - manually download the CK1 version. Manually extract the files and choose only one option of the 8 .esp's listed. I used the Utopia Generator Base.esp
If your waterfalls aren't importing properly, here is a link to download a zip file with about a dozen pics of the waterfall tiles. (72MB) Download zip
Hey, I'm not sure if this mod still works but I redid the install multiple times and it keeps having no walls and the floors that are there being out un-angled tiles. If anyone could help me with this I would appreciate it so much, this looks like such a cool mod and thank you for taking your time to create it!
You have to use the right version of Snappy Kit AND the Snappy DecoKit. Version 5.6 are still available. I tested and they still work. After that, changes were made to that mod.
Hi! First of all, thank you for this incredible work. (And sorry for my English) After a lot of testing, I still can't install it.... I don't know why, but the walls don't appear... Also the tennis court and several ground elements, but all the objects seem to be there. However, I installed all the mods well... If anyone has a solution, that would be great! I spend two days on it ..
At 5%; Error: settlement import seems to be stuck for at least 60 seconds enabling the item - item #197 Renovated Dresser Small Black |##0009EE| What do I do with this?
I know you probably don't update this anymore but is it possible for you to add all the required plugins and mods into a mega link that way it would save other people some hassle?
The mod is amazing, but its teasing how there are 2 mods that are on the bethesda.net page (Creative Clutter, Do it Yourshelf) and 1 that is unobtainable (Better Stores). making various pieces of furniture to be missing all over the mansion
Hey buddy. Yeah, I realize that some mod authors may hide or pull their mods, but I can't do anything about it. I leave those pieces in place because people who have those mods can still import the assets correctly. There are lots of furniture mods though, so redecorating should be easy and fun.
Edit: Learned about Transfer and Blueprint, so I know the answers below, NM. Basically I'm new to Blueprints, so hope this isn't a dumb question. I was wondering if this is built in my current game, then I start a new game would I have to rebuild it again or would it automatically be there? If it needs to be rebuilt each time, would it be possible to use 2 Blueprints, one clearing the area, then the 2nd for the build.
It's my first time playing Thuggysmurf's and kristakahashi's mod series, and I'm mid game otherwise I would have tried to install this already. I had problems with All Settlements Extended Previs and Precomb Patch forcing me to remove it. I've still got the base mod though, so it should still work. Downloading, Endorsing and giving Kudos just for all the effort, thanks! :D
Hi, thanks for the kind words! Neeher updated All Settlements Extended to 2.2, maybe it will work now.
But I highly recommend starting a new game when you install a mod that edits world space and meshes. What will happen when you activate a mod like ASE is that the settlement areas will reload deleted objects like structures, trees and bushes, and they will be uneditable (not able to be deleted). This is true when adding enviroment mods or scrapping mods mid-game too. I see a lot of complaints on those pages and I think people just aren't aware of what happens with the reloading of the meshes, causing some objects to be "ghost-like" and "permanent" as others have described.
Maybe you already know, but for everyone else, a little info. :)
Hey, ozzyzzo, I am still tracking this impressive mod of yours... And I still don't have the heart (or the time for that matter) to try and install it. Not to mention that I am not really very fond of Fallout 4 game-play, quests and.... BUGS (a million of which still exist and will never be fixed without redoing the entire game from scratch based on a NEW engine... *sigh*) ... so, the thought of starting a new game is not very appealing I use Fallout 4 these days as a dress-them-up game, getting new outfits everywhere and sometimes responding to the annoying "help defend settlement" requests. My character is level something like 280 or some such...
Anyway, I keep drooling over your mod and I keep hoping that one day, maybe, it's installation process may be streamlined and made easy or even automatic. Should this happen, well, I will have to start a new game just to enjoy your fabulous mod.
Is there such a chance?
... and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Best, ~Malestra
