THANK YOU. I have been waiting for a mod like this since launch! If I was to add the keyword and script to other radio activators would i be able to tune between several channels or just the 2?
Yeah, it checks for anything with the keyword I've added. so as long as the radio activator added by a mod or some other means has that keyword, it should work.
As for the radio channels, it currently only switches between Diamond City Radio and Classical Radio. I may be able to add the ability to detect the current frequency of a mod radio, and add that to what the radio can alternate between.
Well I had not until you pointed it out, Reneer also has some other interesting mod's. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8962/? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11527/?
Huh, I hadn't noticed there was already a similar mod, thanks for pointing that out. I guess this one will just be a 'simple' alternative, mainly for the vanilla radios.
I know i'm picky, but I avoided reeners because of the menu it displays. This mod is what I've been looking for because it just adds another activation method to switch between channels, not a full menu that pauses the game. I had actually asked reneer to implement this into his mod a while back but he never did, so seeing this mod pop up yesterday made me very happy
Thanks for this. I stopped using Reneer's because of too many "hidden features": adds PA announcements from Nuka World as a Commonwealth station, changes the tuning animation on the Pip Boy, extends the distance you can hear an in-game radio... I just wanted to change the station.
Very nice idea, one thing that would get this to be a major hit would be if you could expand it to have patches with more selection of radio station's for mod's such as Old World Radio. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9048/? If you made optional version's that allowed selection of these and other radio mod's that would really catch the attention.
Downloading so that I can endorse and like I say love the idea.
This doesn't add or replace any radios, just adds functionality to existing ones. So the two radios in the workshop menu should both work, as well as a few static radios found around the commonwealth.

Undisclosed changes are chaos to compatibility.
Would you consider adding radio freedom to it as-well?
This mod is purely excellent. Endorsed

Is this a "replacer" for all in game radios?
Or a standalone for settlements?
