Hey guys, I realised that the author isn't going to get around to fixing this mid so I decided to fix it myself: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/45527?
I contacted the mod author and asked for permission, but he hasn't been active so I decided to post it anyway. If the mod maker wants me to remove it then I gladly will!
Hopefully this version addresses all the issues of this mod
Can you please make this compatible with Home Plate Full Settlement https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/34001 or could anyone tell me how? I know f04edit I just don't know what to change.
Has anyone been able to use a mod to link this home plate to the caravan network? My old mod (Home plate Workshop Settlement) doesn't seem to want to work with this home plate, and I am wondering if anyone else has had any luck.
I always wanted to send my companions here, so I got your mod along with this one, it did not work. After building and exploring some more, I decided to toggle collisions off. This mod is a new cell, you can crawl to the original one right below it. That explains why Home Plate mods are incompatible, they all refer to the vanilla cell, but nothing can reach it since the doors are now connected here. I do not know how to elaborate about it, I mainly speak Spanish. Hope this helped.
hey, theres just a small problem, the fusebox doesn't work, the preset wires are not connected to the conduits, i cant place anything on the basement floor, and i cant delete the preset hanging bulbs, otherwise i love the mod. can i also request a full settlement workshop?
The fuse box does actually work, but the lines and conduits that come with the mod don't. I ended up scrapping the lines, the lights, and the conduits and building new ones from scratch. I also moved the fusebox to the first floor (for my own design purposes), and it works fine.
A few small suggestions: Smooth out the walls and put down a full wooden floor on the first floor. Either that, or add a compatibility patch for Rebuilt Home Plate.
a compatibility patch wouldn't be possible since both mods occupy different spaces. He didn't reshape the vanilla space, he created a new space next to it in the void and connected the doors to it.
But, I love the idea of wooden floors throughout. Someone capable of cleanly knocking out a wall and expanding into a warehouse (*Vanilla Lore*) seamlessly should be capable of making a good floor throughout, including the loft areas. (
although i'm not entirely sure how you would do this or if it is even possible on Fallout 4's engine could you make a terminal outside of homeplate that allows you to select different themes/decorated presets? you could make it like the megaton house in fallout 3 that allowed you to get different themes for your house perhaps providing a few basic ones to choose from that cost little to nothing and making more advanced ones that change the material of the floors/walls something you need to pay a good amount of caps for as you'd essentially be renovating the house itself even making special themes you could unlock from the completion of DLC or certain questlines like the railroad, BoS, Minutemen and institute making it a worthwhile goal when replaying the game.
This sounds awesome, but like you said I don't think there's a way to do that and even if there is I'm just a beginner. If I ever find out a way to make this kind of mod I will definitely try <3
It is or should be possible, when using scripts - what needs to be done is to implement a script that lets you chosse several mods "on the fly", while the game is running and this is a very annoying thing to do.

You try and get in contact with ChuckSteele, the author of Beantown Interiors. He did the same in Fallout 3 & Fallout New Vegas and added different Themes for the Megaton house. He may be able to give you some help on that. If you can't contact him via the Nexus, you may try through TTW (Tale of Two Wastelands). Someone there may be able to help. They have a great Discord server and are super helpful.
I would love to see different Themes as well, and so far it hasn't been done. Might have to involve buying the themes like in FO3, either through Geneva or a Custom Vendor . . . Hmmmm, and Custom Decorator vendor . . . Now THERE'S another great idea!!

Edit: Disregard.

It's definetly a test of patience ;-)
