This mod is amazing. It honestly deserves more praise and endorsements. I've been looking through all companion mods and it's really hard to find unique mods like this.

Hello. Solid mod. Thanks for the time and effort you put into it.

    I have 2 issues.

One, I also cant seem to put away the clones. (Is there a hot key for this?)

Two, How do I actually use the upgrades after making them. I made everything but he still looks the same.

Also where are the hotkeys, or items stored at to activate the robots after they are stored?

    Thanks!

Pretty cool mod man thanks... but how do you put the clones away? They've been following since I found them all in the trailer. I was able to put away Mr. Crafty & Coffee, but they may have declared mutiny right out the gate.

They have the talk command showing, but don't respond to it. However, they kick ass. Watched them chase a bloodbug up a cliff, and heard a "Cha-Ching" about 1 minute later. Maybe they were flexing as a sign of strength to intimidate me or something. I dunno, I ran away and came straight here for help. xD

    Thanks for your dedicated support!
So now I went from 1.2 to 1.6, instantly recognized the new location.
LooT didn't rearrange my other mods with this mod active this time.
Loaded a save in Sanctuary with companions Ada and Pirate. Tried speaking to
both and it worked even with Pirate this time! ...Since Pirate also is a companion
who doesn't count towards the limit of 1 companion, I sent him to his home and
went to Abernathy farm. Now I have a new issue, PCB won't follow regardless of dialogue.
3 times I used "You seem glitchy, follow", he confirms with a pun, but doesn't budge.
Also tried fast-travel a minute or 2 after, just to see, but he wasn't with me and Ada.

I found the MAJOR issue that I'll correct. Turns out when I archive the files, it ignores the scripts that are in the archive (completely
      killing half of his features)

I tweaked the scripts and will have a non-archived version. that will be out within an hour

      Excellent with another bug squashed!
My game seems to prefer loose files also, though when installing it asked to overwrite "objectmod.pex" which I
let it, then it dawned on me that I must have overwritten something installed by a previous mod, or an alteration/vital fix
to vanilla-scripts (?) Now I'll try and test this out more thoroughly to see if something else has been impacted.
I believe they had the same filesize though...

objectmod.pex is from F4SE, I took a look but both files' contents were exactly the same, you shouldn't have any problems.

true, I haven't touched the objectMod.pex, but did noticed it saved in the zip in 1.7. I've already removed it for later versions, but its the same as the original.

That was nice to hear as such things really worry, I have f4se installed but never launch from it as I have no
mods utilizing it ^^ Just wanted to say, there really needs to be a changelog or updated information in the
Read Me. Cleanly installed this mod 3 times, and now with 1.9 I see the updates are no longer loose files, meaning
researching and deleting all old loose files before updating again. Not sure I need to update though as it seems
it only concerned a few settlements like Boston Airport, and now everything finally seems to work.
I'm guessing if I don't delete the old files they will override .bsa's, thus potentially damaging updates.

So... With the 1.9 loose-files version, I went to Abernathy Farm with Paladin Danse on my oldest save, who never had met Mr.Crafty before unlike my recently
new character where everything suddenly worked like a charm with 1.9. I was shocked at what I saw, there was like 4 or 5 mr.Crafty's, with names like
Mr.Crafty Clone 2, Mr.Shiny etc. One had a nice white texture :) I adressed the one named only Mr.Crafty, recruited him, and every other robot followed including Mr.Coffee.
I went back to Abernathy Farm and all the robots started attacking the settlement (!) I've reverted to a prior save, uninstalled, loaded & saved,
cleaned several orphaned scripts and reactivated the mod, and hope I'll just see one Mr.Crafty, and one Mr.Coffee when travelling back in a day or 2.

See, the thing about updating a mod that requires clean saves are something I usually do 1 time when playing 4 characters. It's a bit timeconsuming.
Though since I haven't used anything with inventories and such, I am considering one final clean installment with 1.93.

Hey man. Do you plan to add portable crafting ability to all automatrons? Think about having Codsworth as a portable cooking station!

It's all custom scripts are specific to Mr. Crafty. but I'll try making it universal and addable to the robot workbench, but most likely in version 2.0+

Great success! Looks like everything's working properly now. :3 You've done fine work.
However, would there be any way to open his transformation menu without having to talk to him?
I've got a strange bug I can't find the source of, where my character keeps starting conversations by saying some random Settler line of dialogue, silently.
Takes forever to wait for that each time I wanna talk to someone. But even if I weren't having this bug, i'd still like a way to transform Crafty without talking to him.

Even though his voice is perfection lol
I legit laughed at his "No wait, it's fine"

Maybe some kind of Crouch + Button action on Crafty?

Great to hear! but question. crouch action or a menu option from the pip boy? I ironically was going to make a "quick menu device" that you can construct through his crafting station.

Well, I have no idea what would be the easiest system to implement.
But, alot of people tend to add crouch + click on object systems for this sort of thing.
I think they use the script that the Cannibal perk uses?

Anyway, a chem that you can Hotkey sounds great too! And alot simpler lol
But I still wanna hear him talk sometimes, too :C

1.9 will be out today. I think I fixed that random dialog for you along with a few added features!
I'll still look into that crouch-quick action for some variety

Mr. Coffee and Mr. Radar ( if you've seen spaceballs ) would be cool for settlements!

Lol! Yes, I've seen Space Balls, it's a classic. Actually If memory serves, Mr. Coffee is also a real appliance name too.

I could see a robot follower that brews a coffee every so often that, when consumed by your character, will grant an insane speed boost, like when Fry drank 100 cups of coffee on Futurama and turned into the Flash. The robot its self could attack enemies by spraying them down with scalding hot coffee, kind of like the attack that some of the robots in Nuka World have.

Mr. Radar would have to watch out for giant jars of jam though.
