There seems to be difficulty with the exo-upper-lower connector. It's taking up the same armor slot as the legs (57) but when I put it to 56 and equip all of them at once, the legs and connector disappear from the body (the character itself, in the game world). Any ideas on that?
edit* So you can use both lower exo and the leg armor even though you can't see it on the character. But I'm also noticing my footstep sound doubles up when I have any lower piece on. I deleted some footstep sounds and it crashed my game so I had to reload the mod. I'll keep trying to figure this out
Just a suggestion should this ever be updated again.
The t45 & t51 armors are expensive, heavy, and their armor values are worse than polymer combat armor which is far cheaper & easier to get. The armor augments don't really make up for this. Comparing chest armors, going from the combat armor to t51 cyber chest I am losing 14/16 dt/et or approx 1/3rd of the armor.. which seems silly as these is supposed to be slimed down Power Armor pieces. This is made more ridiculous as it is nearly 4x as heavy. (weight is a universal problem with cross cybernetics with the loss of the strength bonuses)
Also, if the armor pieces are essentially ripped from t45 & t51 power armor, it should have comparable armor values to those, or at the minimum higher armor values than polymer combat armor offers.
Beyond this small complaint, the mod was well integrated into horizon.
Suggested values bump cyber t45 to around 60% titanium rank 1 levels power armor (24 arms, 44 legs, 36 chest) bump cyber t51 to around 60% titanium rank 2 levels power armor (44 arms, 84 legs, 68 chest)
This way it retains its usefulness as actual protection, and worth the resource sink, but doesn't outclass actual power armor as t1 and t2 ranks are relatively simple to acquire.
I'm in the process of tweeking this myself, for my own modding experience. I can certainly share whatever I come up with. A lot of the values are off to the point where it's not really usable. That said, I super appreciate him doing this. It saves me a ton of work and aggravation. I'm also questioning what the stats would look like to make this worth it. I'll consider your values!
Not sure if anybody else ran into this issue but I cant craft anything except for hands and belt even though they all require 40 engineering and science, rest says I do not meet the requirements, same thing for your chinese stealth armor, this is on both on the horizon tech workbench and the cross workbench
nvm, had to scroll down on the ingredients list and was missing one of the alloys
did you figure out where to get those alloys? in the cyber workbench it says "Alloy: Steel[Grade-1](OUTDATED)" even though i have tons of grade 1 steel and titanium alloy
Other author's have done them before, but have not updated them for 1.5, and require mods like Armor Keywords, Armorsmith, that I don't care for. Plus all your patches are well balanced for Horizon.
Thanks man! Yeah, Ive thought about looking at recon/strigidae and the jetpack before. I know archerdown did them, so I didn't want to step on his toes, but maybe I will. I think that ThaMan and Skyman are sort of taking the reigns on weapons. They both know what they are doing and are really active in patching, so maybe they would be better to talk to as far as weapons go, Ive never patched one before.
I got permission from archerdown to update any of his patches that i want, hes awesome! I cant promise how fast i can update them but at least i dont have to start from scratch which should speed things up a lot.
Awesome... the other guys haven't done any of Niero's weapons, except for Archer's BreakActionLaser, that you should take a look at and do the the other 2, lol.

Thanks for all your patches! Using almost all of them and they really enhance my game. I was wondering if you could post a tutorial here(Or PM me) what exactly you do to patch an armor mod. What do you add/change/remove etc. Would be really helpful to all of us who would like to start patching outselves but have no real frame of reference besides loading them up in FO4edit. Damn sorry for ignoring you for a month, i dont do it on purpose... I would love to post a turorial some time, hopefully i find the time for it, just hard with the holdiays coming up.. I learned everything on my own..just on the fly, spending probably 100 hours looking at different mods and playing around. Ive wasted entire nights trying to figure out stuff that i had to give up on, or realised a stupid mistake that would have saved me hours. It really takes patience and thats it...im really not even a smart guy at all.
Reverse engineering others peoples work is an invaluable way to learn!!!

Hey I've got a question/request, would you be willing to create a version that would allow for rad removal again at the cost of either a constant AP drain while the effect is active or just the flat -xx% AP refresh rate the gas mask upgrades use? Perhaps as an added balance you could make it remove a certain number of rads while you sleep if possible. Oh also if possible a patch for the newer Courser Strigidae armor would be awesome. Thanks for the awesome patches so far.

After messing with your mod for a bit i will say this its VERY well made id have to say personaly maybe make the armor on par with Light combat Armor for the T45 or T51 verson other then that great mod
Ah cool thanks for the advice! Ive spent all my time patching mods over the past few weeks and something this substatial made me kind of nervous uploading it without much actual testing. Im REALLY happy to hear you like it so far! Now that i have all my changes in and it seems to work, im going to go over every piece of armor and crafting recipie again, i’ll definately take your advice into consideration. Thanks man!
One thing im considering is removing the blacksmith requirement for crafting certain frame upgrades. I think requiring higher tiier materials locks the gear out anyways..so i might just add some more higher tiered materials to some recipies and remove the blacksmith requirements alltogether.
oh yhah i play a Technologest Cherecter so this is a must for me thank you for makeing it not rediculously op or underpowered id say anything under the heavy combat/raider armor shoud be as you got it MAYBE heavy metal armor for the "heavy" ones but id say for T45 apperience be on part with light combat armor and T51 on par with medium Combat at best so you still have a ansentave to wanna get heavy Combat or marine armor but my only thing that weirded me out is some of the mag perks wer a bit off if you want my 2 caps id say make the gun ones require guns and ammo the science ones to be Hacker,Tesla science and the crush your enemys one keep for melee related the survival ones just looked off (but not bad idea) to me personaly evrything else is working fine thares no bugs or anything on my end keep the good work up = ) also if you can make it so the armor has the option to be hidden becuse the left arm in the base mod clips trew the pip boy and i dont know why it bugs me but it does x3

Lol ya i was like...this HAS to be done! Im not too concerned with the upgrades bonuses, but the armor pieces had to be patched...you’d be god-like with the original values lol
