I really wanted to use this mod as it sounded fantastic on paper, unfortunately it goes too far. It makes all explosives SUPER OP!
Missile launcher x5 damage (At the start of the game it almost 1-shots everything) Fat Man x4 damage (1-shot a Legendary Deathclaw) Fire touched me for a split second and did 90% damage Little baseball/Frag grenades knock over huge behemoths and deathclaws from 4m/12ft away.
I really like the concept, there are lots of aspects I want from the mod including beefing up explosives... but not THIS much.
@Tigertank0506 - 🤦♂️ but Fallout is not real life, is it?! It's a video game, so things have to be balanced, otherwise, it's boring and frustrating. Many things need a buff, such as the missile launcher, which is pathetically weak. But as I said, this goes too far IMO. It's not like it's an uber-rare weapon or ammo.
COMPATIBILITY - This changes the Fat Man explosion, so mods that increase the Fat Man damage will be incompatible. It's 1 value that would need to be patched, so if you're feeling adventurous, it would take maybe 2 seconds in FO4Edit :) I'll make some patches shortly.
I guess it’s use this mod or that one but not both, unless you use FO4Edit and are able to patch it yourself ?
They asked a simple question, and politely at that. What actually is the problem with half of the folks on this site? If you don't feel like answering properly, then you don't have to answer at all. I don't use the two together, but if I did, I would have gladly helped. Sorry
From the flamethrower (Codsworth as example) use, NPCs bodies fly into the air, is this action of this mod or something else? Install 1.2a, much better.

Thx, awesum rebalance and nothing breaks, only this problem.
I don't know how to describe it exactly, but with this mod active, enemies will be flung high into the air and far into the area by Codsworth when using his flamethrower. Reminds me a bit of Skyrim and the giants. Where would I need to edit the effect in xEdit? But everything else works. Endorsed
That is true and is a valid concern. But it doesn't happen all the time with flames. It depends on "weight" and clutter of surrounding objects. So it could be annoying at times. The flame lasting & burning effect causes this "side effect" and there is absolutely no way around it (I messed for hours after hours with this). I admit this is not very realistic, but I just wanted a way to have the fires burn in the ground and inflict damage and this is the only way I know to do it.
Therefore if you don't like this effect simply uninstall this version and install the previous version of the mod, ie version 1.2a and you're all set. Version 1.2a does not include the flamethrower effect. This is why I left it uploaded.

Would it be possible to upload a version with only the fire standalone effects?
im using 1.3 though but, it could be just incompatibility issues with my other mods.
